The best cycling tour we’ve done. Incredible scenery & great variety of trails. We were happy with the condition & quality of the bikes and all the while the support vehicle followed us should we need it.A special shout-out to Judy. Thank you for making things run smoothly. I know it requires a lot of preparation & attention to detail. Brett - your positive attitude, sense of humour, professionalism & passion really made our trip. Phil you were so knowledgeable of the area & the trails. Pacific Cycle Tours have been fantastic from day one till the last hour after 10 days, we had Phil as a cycle leader and Brett as the organiser, accommodation was very comfortable, bikes worked very, food a bit too much, watch out !! What fun I travelled across the World and it was worth it..Wish I know how to post photo's but beyond me..

We had an amazing 10 day ebike tour of New Zealand’s South Island. The bikes were first class and made the hill climbs a breeze. Well organised, great accommodation and dining options but the highlight for us was the spectacular scenery , like minded cyclists and the professional organisation provided by Pacific Cycling

PCT puts on a very enjoyable 10 day tour on the South Island.Offering a fleet of quality hard-tail e-bikes, they expertly lead relaxed touring, 45 to 50K per day, hitting the very best segments of the South Island’s iconic trail systems. This means each day is a peak experience, with engaging terrain and jaw-dropping vistas.Hard to imagine a better execution of this great approach.

My wife and I have done several cycling tours before, all on road bikes, but we ride mountain bikes at home in California so thought this would be fun and safer than the road bike tours on the South Island because the roads are so narrow and windy. We included the 10 day tour of the South Island with a visit to our family on the North Island. We picked PCT because we wanted to go with a New Zealand based company. This was the best fun we have ever had on bikes! Trails were fantastic, accommodations were great, and the care that Brett and Phil put into every detail was amazing! We had never ridden e-bikes before and that was such a treat on some of the longer and hillier days. PCT's bikes were amazingly well equipped. I recommend this tour highly, especially if you want to get away from some of the larger tour providers and have a more personalized experience.

I have just completed the new Lake Dunstan, Roxburg Gorge and the Otago Gold trail over four days and loved every minute of it.This is my second tour with Pacific Cycle Tours. Brett and Judy are great communicators their tours are well organised and offer great accommodation.

We came over from Sydney and had a great experience in Jan 2023. 10/10!We did the Triple Treat, which was a terrific ride, on normal (non e) bikes and would make the same choice again. The bikes were first class and well maintained.Pacific Tours were well organised and everything happened according to the plan. I would hate to have had to carry our luggage with us, and it was always there waiting for us at day’s end.The accommodation, in particular, was amazing. Oliver’s at Clyde was a standout, but the lodgings were above what I’ve expected in every single location and the hosts in each place were incredibly helpful. The spa by the river in Beaumont was another highlight.Day 1 is beautiful, but the Roxburgh Gorge section on day 2 was my favourite. Putting the bikes on the jet boat was great, but even better was the history of mining we got from Lawrence, our English skipper. He is quite a character.I also think it was incredibly good value. Can’t recommend it highly enough, in fact. Will definitely do another trip with Pacific in the future. Thanks, PCT!

We have just returned from completing the Otago Triple Threat. Four days of blissful independent riding, on fantastic bikes supplied by Dave at Altitude Bikes, and three nights of fantastic accommodation organised by Pacific CYCLE Tours. We knew where to have coffee, eat lunch, dine out, get water and go to the toilet due to the incredibly explicit, warm and encouraging notes supplied by the team. I cannot recommend it enough. The three trails were different to each other and each had their attractions, though the jet boat on the Roxburgh dam is hard to beat. We are already thinking about our next trip, and if we might book ebooks next time ...

Best holiday we’ve ever been on, an exhilarating experience, enjoying magnificent scenery, overnighting in luxurious accommodation, sharing great food and wine with new fiends we’ve made. Phil our tour guide was friendly, professional, always encouraging and helpful. Brett (who doubled up as our driver and support person) and Judy ensured a professional and perfectly run tour leaving nothing to chance. What a wonderful never to be forgotten experience.
