Yummy Dumpling 大青花饺子

Food was good, dumplings better than average, great chilli oil.But, they forgot one dish and when we asked about it ages later, they blamed us. Even though it's impossible to order wrong because you order digitally on a tablet.Horrifying way to treat a customer, but a restaurant is foremost about the food, just need to decide if it's worth the abuse.

Been here many times and each time I am impressed by their food. Reasonably priced and the best dumplings. A wide selection. Veggie dushes fresh and delicious. Friendly atmosphere. Can't wait for the next time.

We loved this restaurant since it first opening and we have been there many times!!!!! It was my hometown food and we love to support them ! However, it getting worse over the years. Both the quantity and the quality of the food has been reduced. The service is the worst yesterday when we went there. We cleaned our own table and asked the owner to take away the dirty dishes as we want to have a clean table to put the birthday cake on top. I was told we have to wait due to no waitress yesterday ! The food was not cheap !!! The services is just terrible!!! We will never go back again!

Every time is NOT disappointed, every time!This authentic Northern China Cuisine restaurant had never been letting us down, can't recall how many times we had been dinning there, have to say there was no single unpleasant experience.It appears to be less busier after COVID which we should know that is how businesses are like nowadays. Food is still equally nice. These big pots are my recommendations to try if you haven't. You would need at least 3/4 people to finish it with one go lol. Don't even mention their dumplings! Just simply yummy! Nice varieties as well.There is no corkage unless you wanna bring beers, which is just $10, quite reasonable.I won't say all the watiing staff there are welcoming but the hospitality they provide is sufficient enough, especially they do try to look after our needs.

Had a lunch here, order a beef noodle with soup, taste good but as I was finishing the bowl, something stuck in my teeth, tried different ways finally pull it out, it's part of the steel wire ball people use to clean tough stain.....Definitely not coming back here again, as customer's health doesn't matter to them.They tried to offer me another bowl of noodle, but c'mom, man~~Be careful when eating here, I normally don't give bad review but some restaurants are just not up to the standard, SMH~

We called on January 23rd to make a reservation for February 5th. I called again on February 1st to confirm the room and when we arrived today we were told there was no reservation. Never go back again.

My husband and I visited this place with our friends two weeks ago (not the first time we visited). After we finished our meal my husband went up to the counter to pay and that is when he received the most unacceptable service from the presumed owner. We were given a bill of $102. My husband handed the owner $100 in cash and apologised about not having $2 and requested to pay the remaining by card. The owner stared right into my husband’s face and gave him a big sigh and shook her head. My husband asked if there was something wrong with his way of paying but the owner didn’t answer and continued to give him a fed up face and seemed very angry. So he asked again if there was a problem with the way he was paying but the owner continued to ignore him.We did know that the service this place offered was not up to the standard but still visited because we thought the food they offered were okay but the recent visit changed everything and we will never visit nor recommend this place to anyone else as this place provides disgusting service! Moreover we realised that the quality of the dishes were very poor compared to our previous visits.If you don’t want to ruin your lunch or dinner don’t go to this place.

It is impossible for us to recommend this place. We came in for an impromptu lunch, but definitely have some regrets now. I don’t like leaving these sorts of reviews, but don’t want others to experience what we went through last week.We came in (three adults) for a weekday lunch. We ordered five dishes off the main menu. The service was very slow and staff were uninterested, and the menu was only in Chinese for some reason, but several others came in while we were there and it got busy enough.The food was tasty, there's no denying that. We particularly liked the sweet and sour fish, and the prawns. The dumplings were delicious. However my first bite of the sweet and sour pork, tasted off. I wrote it off to the sauce, and didn’t worry about it too much. However I didn’t eat much of it, my father ate more, and Mum didn’t touch it as she doesn’t like pork. We took leftovers home as we had over-ordered.Following the meal, I used the bathroom - and warned my mother off using it as it was too dirty, which was disappointing. There was no hand soap either. We went elsewhere for bathrooms, and then the supermarket and home. My brother then ate the leftovers we had brought home.We three then all came down with a terrible case of gastroenteritis, with vomiting, severe diarrhea and cold chill fevers. This lasted around 3 days for my brother and 4 days for Dad and I, with my father ending up extremely unwell in particular.This meal was the only one that we all shared, and that nobody else in the house (Mum, sister in law, and the kids), also ate. I should have stopped when the pork tasted weird, but you simply trust that your food will be safe. I cannot recommend this restaurant in any way, and we are reporting this as a gastro outbreak to ARPHS.

Nice Northern Chinese restaurant, with varies of dishes to choose from.Location in the central part of Browns Bay shopping conplex, with lots of parking available, but during dinner time it's still hard to find a spot.A bit salty for me personally, but still good taste, though. Price on the higher side if order the steam pot, it is quite unique, but probably once or twice a year is enough.
