Amazing community theatre.I love the cuppa and bikkies at intermission and the friendly team making it all happen. The shows are always wonderful. I travel from Mangawhai to see them and my parents recently joined me, coming from Waihi Beach to watch with me! Well worth a visit.

I see kiwifruit, a fantastic play - hilarious the whole way through, great acting from all 6 actors, awesome costumes, very reasonable ticket price, nice venue, easy parking - a win in every way!

Nice wee community theatre with a surprisingly modern setup. Shows can vary a bit, but this is a proper grassroots community theatre, and when they're good, they're great! If you're reading a review on google, you're probably younger than their average audience - but don't let that worry you. Relax, enjoy the free tea, coffee, and biscuits at half time, and chat with people with years of theatre and arts experience.Get involved! They always need new bodies, and you as audience, cast, or crew keep community theatre alive and gets people out from their netflix screens!

Had the pleasure of seeing 'Hanna' with a strong performance by Cassandra Woodhouse. No gimmicks, costumes or fluff. Just a great story being well told under the direction of Jennifer Ward-Lealand. It felt Kiwi. I was surprised when it was over. 1.5hrs gone in 30mins...or so it seemed. This is my first visit to a suburban theatre and it won't be the last. Tonight's show was a gem and I got to see it on opening night. Dolphin Theatre is a great venue with friendly frontline staff that made me feel welcome. An excellent night.
