A popular local, I was finally able to get a seat at!The food was a great, and team is as well! Whether you are going as a couple or with friends/large group, you'll find something for everyone. There is an upstairs room if you and your group want to hangout away from the main floor, or you can be amongst it all!We have great choices we were eager to try and recommended by the owner.Looking forward to being back to try other treats on the menu!

We had dinner at this place last night. It was superior nice choice . Friendly staff and nicely serivce. The food are delicious and presentation is quite good . The BBQ lamb stew is amazingly yummy. I recommended to everyone stay locally and definitely enjoy it.

Checked this place out at a whim a couple of months ago and were pleasantly surprised by the dishes we ordered - they were delicious and not excessively oily. The menu is generally more expensive than other similar restaurants but the quality of the food and friendliness of the owner made it fair value.

This is the best Chinese restaurant I have been to. We were a group of 8 and all enjoyed our meal. We ordered less than 8 different meals from the menu and shared what we got on the rotating table centre and there was ampke food. It is authentic Chinese food, much better than the usual take out or restaurant. The restaurant got to be quite full. They have a good wine & beer choice as well.

Finally a great Authentic Chinese restaurant out west. Make sure you try the BBQ skewers lamb beef or pork or chicken skin for the naughty ones out there. There is a Sichuan fried fish served with veges served boiling in a pan great eating for two or more. It is very busy so make sure you book they definitely do check vaccine passes so don't forget. 10/10.

Lovely friendly service for our takeaway. The portions of the mains are generous, so for two mains and one rice portion we had a meal for two and leftovers. Could have fed 3 easily. The sweet and sour pork was the best I've tasted (not gluey and fatty at all), generous with the pork and good pineapple chunks. The spicy eggplant with garlic was delicious, definitely spicy! Will be going there again to try more on the menu! Best Chinese cuisine I've had locally by a mile (except for home cooking :)).

We heard about this newly opened restaurant in Hobsonville and had been told it was worth checking out so decided to do so. We made a booking as you had to , as it was busy. When we turned up we did have to wait a few minutes longer than our booking time to get the table , but that doesn't worry us. Our vaccine pass was checked which is good to see they're abiding by the rules there. The place was busy but slowly quietened down before we left. Our orders were taken quite quickly , and after a while and seeing a few tables leave they let us move as we did not really like where we were initially. We ordered the soy sauced duck, sweet & sour pork and beef with black pepper. But now comes our one and only complaint about our experience here that being the wait for the food after we ordered. It must have been the best part of 45 minutes if not that exactly before we got our first dish which was a cold dish. A cold dish took 45 minutes!!! We had mentioned to them several times during that 45 minutes about where our food was and they did chase it up both times. There was a private room sitting upstairs which made them all the busier, but still the kitchen should be organised well enough that bringing out the dishes for all tables in a reasonable time is not a problem. Anyway we finally did get all our dishes in about an hour and they were actually very good. They must have a good chef back there. We were given a free bowl of peanuts and 10% off the bill in the end for the problems. To sum up , the restaurant is clean , apart from the slow food service ,( which I hope is fixed by now and was just down to them being newly opened and getting into the swing of things) all other aspects of the service was good. Staff were attentive and pleasant. The food was good . The menu is nothing flash but still enough to cater for all tastes. So all in all would recommend it, but book ahead .

We visited as a family of five, on a week night, without a booking. We got an upstairs table. The owner, Albert, treated us like friends. Very welcoming. We let him help us choose. We tried a multitude of dishes. The menu includes a portion of very non Western (authentic) food, so there is a risk. I can honestly say that there wasn't a single dish that wasn't loved by someone at our table (quite proud of my kids ability to enjoy a wider variety of food than me). After the meal Albert asked us a few questions, possibly in response to these reviews.It is a new restaurant trying to work out how to best cater to its local customers. Our verdict was a definite YES and i am looking forward to going back, with a larger group, a booking, and a better idea of how much to order. I am looking forward to showing our friends and family our new local asian restaurant!!!(Sorry I was too busy enjoying the night to get good photos).
