Amazing food gem in WhanganuiVegan menu available, vegetarian, gluten free and gluten free option offered on site menu itemsI had the vegan, gluten free mushroom fajita which was sooo deliciousHubby had the pan fried tarakihi with salad plus the beetroot, apple, spinach & feta salad

Absolutely love this place! Food is delicious, fresh and wholesome. Cocktails are also very dangerously tasty. Have been here twice and left very happy both times. They also have Mexican hats you can wear if you really want to get in to the spirit!

We went over the Easter weekend so the staff told us the kitchen was 15-20 behind, which sounded ok for us. But reality was way different... They took around 10-15 minutes only to take the order (the first time). After 25 minutes I asked another waitress how much longer where they to at least the entry - a simple guacamole and chips... She came back saying that our order was mixed up with someone else's and she took it again. The same waitress came back 5 -10 minutes after, for taking the order for a 3rd time. We finally waited 1 hour since we sat down to get our entry.... No apologies or explanations whatsoever.Food was ok, but honestly nothing special or great. The salad was very small and the chicken fajita's only good thing was the chicken all the sides were average, as you might see in the photos. In my personal everything we tried was overpriced, just not worth the price or the wait.Unfortunately I would not recommend it.

Not real authentic Mexican food. Coming from a Mexican from the USA to NZ. This food is far from authentic. To be honest this food and place trying to act as my culture is a disgrace to Mexican culture. Will not recommend this place at all. Come on how do you mess up rice like Mexicans don’t eat white or yellow rice we eat red rice. Where’s the beans this place was sad.

Simply delicious. I would have taken photos of my dishes, had I not devoured them so quickly! My only regret is I have no palate for spicy food!

Gorgeous place, quick service, decent tasting food. Everyone happy with the food itself, setting, and service.but $45 for a light meal with 1 adult, 2 kids seems waaaaay overpriced. Especially when morsels were super small.

Went down the Ave wanting to try something different from the usual meal and always wanted to try this place out. Looking at the menu I wasn't sure what to order,the friendly staff gave honest suggestions and we went with it. The taste of the food is very good. Naughty lb was good .

Mojitos are nice here, Our table of 3 ordered a guacamole starter was definitely a starter a few chips each and the guacamole was average. Meals were Seared prawns, fried chicken & Chimichungas. Expensive & left hungry cause we didn't want to spend anymore money here. Disappointed.
