Regent Theatre
Great cinema. There is a large theatre and the small theatres that are really cute. They have food and drinks available. You usually can get parks pretty easily on the road outside. Nice to know your supporting a locally owned business as well.

Wonderful vintage setting but with modern screens and sound quality. Food is extremely affordable as well as ticket prices compared to larger chain cinemas . Glad we have this piece of history for future generations to enjoy.

One of my favorite local venues. Love the intimacy of the small movie theatres and the range of them, up to the big upstairs one. Great staff. A perfect spot to take time out from your day. Take a trip back in time or race into the future.

Love the intermission in the middle of films. The grand entrance up the stairs to Cinema 1. The nostalgia this building Holds is very impressive. Fresh popcorn and a good selection of treats.

Our family absolutely love the Regent Theatre in Te Awamutu. The whole movie theatre experience is way better than Events and Hoyts Cinemas. Atmosphere, customer service and care, family-friendly service is spot on. The quality of the snacks, pricing, and the amazing people that deliver the service are fantastic and worth the experience.

CANNOT Rate this place highly enough!!From the quirky old school feel to the comfortable cinemas and superb staff.The pricing is great and the variety of confectionery takes me back to when I was a kid. Thank you for making our NZ trip that much better

The People working at the Regent Theatre were so accommodating to my needs . My sister , who is 60yo had a big fall straight onto her knees and face on the w/e just gone . The staff went to great lengths , particularly Mary, to get my sister inside to sit on a comfy couch way before the doors opened and then offered us upfront seats as my sister couldn’t get up the stairs . They couldn’t do enough for us . It is so nice to see so much good in people still . Thank you to all of you so much .

Had an awesome time at The Regent at the weekend, one time of many other times before.An awesome nostalgic experience, even equipped with a half film intermission which always proves useful.Thank you Regent Team!
