Lovely Place, Great Hospitality, Great Location, Very Handy ,Walking Distance, To 90% of What You might need

Check in was smooth and reception was friendly. Room was VERY clean and has everything you need. One of the cleanest models we've stayed at. Comfortable stay.

Very clean and spacious, all the usual amenities, relatively modern, only real negative is the shower is very small and wouldn’t suit a big bloke ! Also if you mobility issues request a downstairs unit ! Very close to town with some good food spots less than a 5 min walk away

Very noisy location as it’s right next to a very busy road, constant heavy flowing traffic. The parking is very limited and difficult to get in and out. Most importantly, worst hospitality ever experienced! Got banged on the door early in the morning by a crazy old man claiming from Management accusing us from being noisy. We literally just got up and get ready to head off. Definitely doing anything loud. He yelled and swore at us grumpily before stomped off. Have to say he brings shame to NZ tourism industry. Do not come here if you need a good night sleep and basic respect.

This is a good quality motel at very reasonable prices. The hosts are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make your stay as good as it can be. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We have stayed in many motels across NZ and there are only a few that we return to - and this is one we stay at whenever we are in Christchurch. We've stayed 3 -4 times so far. Thanks very much.

We stayed here in July and August 2021 and would like to let other travellers know that this is a first class establishment with warm and welcoming hosts. The units are very clean and of a good size with all the necessary items for travellers travelling light.We would not hesitate to return here on our next visit. Highly recommended.Apologies for the late review :)

Due to a booking error on our part we arrived at 00:50 to find a full motel. Unfortunately, I had to wake the on-site manager. I explained our situation, and he found us a space where we could hang out until morning. I am so grateful he definitely went above and beyond to help our plight. Also offered to drive us to the airport to pick up our hire car. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay here over the easter weekend! Very clean and the hosts were very friendly. Only bad thing was we couldnt watch tv properly as it kept dropping out. Otherwise great!

The rooms were very large and have everything you’d need for your time away as well as have great facilities on the doorstep. Fabulous accommodation with everything you could possibly need. Our room was spacious, modern and absolutely spotless. We like the separate bedroom unit from the living and kitchenette area. The host couple were super friendly and very welcoming. Got far more for our money than we could ever have expected.I would love to go there with my friends again. If you are not driving, you can easily walk to the shops, eateries, parks and city area.Disliked · Nothing at all to dislike.

This was a refreshing change from other motels l have stayed in anywhere, Aussie or New Zealand. Right from the start was impressed with the proprietor, he was so welcoming, helpful and professional. The unit is scrupulously clean, spacious well equipped and comfortable. I could not have asked for anywhere nicer to relax at the end of a stressful day. I would recommend this place to my friends, and will definitely choose this place above others. Also the price is very reasonable, l feel so fortunate to find Amross Court.
