Absolutely blown away by the customer service and quality of work by Jim Russ Panelbeaters. I'm always given a loan car and the work is quick. My car always comes back to me sparkling clean inside and out. Extra paint put over scratches that aren't part of the job. I was even allowed to pay off the work to my car in weekly installments. The girls on reception are wonderful to deal with and knowledgeable. I can't rate these guys highly enough. Thank you!

I took my vehical into Jim russ as advised by my insurance company to get photos and get the damaged assessed and quoted for repairs . First thing the told me was they wouldn't be able to do the job as they don't do classic cars and I would have to take it to Whangarei or Auckland. After a few weeks I went back for a update on the quote. They were having trouble finding parts for my vehicle and advised the assessor was going to help them track some down. If you Google mk2 cortina front wing and select the first website on that comes up they do all cortina parts and have plenty of stock . It took me about 30 seconds to find what they were looking for but they couldn't find it after weeks.

Not great, everything they touched needed to go back and do it again. Bolts missing, wrong parts, fastenings falling out, wires left hanging down in secured, scratch in tint from poor workmanship. ( Put a bolt in place of correct part as didn't have it) I hate to give bad reviews but in this case over the last year I've used this company for my car repairs not happy.They have always managed to fix issue eventually but it's time I'll never get back and I'm not sure they appreciate other people's time.

Everyone here was incredibly helpful and happy to help out getting my bumper re-secured to my vehicle, I am very grateful!

The work that was done was like it was brand new and I was very satisfied with work and I would recommend anyone to use Jim Russ at anytime.

As a builder my work vehicle is a vital part of my business. I booked in my vehicle with Jim Russ Panelbeaters to get some rust removed to coincide with a holiday. The job also required the windscreen to be removed by Smith & Smith glass.When I went to collect the vehicle from Jim Russ once completed I found there were paint splatters on the dash in several places, a moulding near the window was broken, and a stone chip that was not part of the job had been sanded but not painted. They admitted they did not complete a final inspection but were quick to pass fault to Smith & Smith. (Stating they would not have used S&S if they had booked the windscreen, but had clearly stated prior that I needed to arrange this part of the job?! )So off I went to S&S, they looked over the issues and said the issues were not a result of their work but the owner would call me. S&S called and said they are not admitting fault but will kindly resolve the issues.I have ended up stuck between 2 parties not admitting fault but fortunately one being professional and putting the issues right.To add to my frustration I found when I returned home that day a $400 pair of sunglasses I had in the compartment by the rear view mirror where the work was done were also missing. When I called Jim Russ Panelbeaters a staff member laughed at me when I asked about the sunglasses, clearly forgetting how frustrating my experience had been to date and adding fuel to the fire they had started…If the final inspection had been completed by Jim Russ Panelbeaters these issues should have been caught and resolved. I have ended up losing 2 days of work to get the repairs done and a pair of sunglasses, I am now out of pocket over $1000… All in all it had been a very disappointing experience that could have been avoided.
