Big massive thanks to Eddie. Helped me out tremendously when I mucked up an order with Yamaha speakers. He sorted it out quickly and with a willing attitude despite me coming to the store half an hour before closing. Made the whole experience easy and stress-free. He's the man! Thank you so much Eddie! 7Jan19 It is early in the 2019 trading new year so it is quiet in the MusicWorks Manukau store but the service is not on holiday ... far from it; the service it's attentive and thoughtful. I took a fellow church member's old guitar into MusicWorks for repair. The G peg's thread was cross threaded. No trouble. The MusicWorks' guys explained the repair options and have me a quote and good rate for the fix. I got them to replace the strings too. Good work. See the attached photos.While I was in the store I asked about a portable speaker for my personal guitar. Yes! I bought my guitar at MusicWorks in 2017. It's a steel strings' Yamaha 1/2 to 2/3 size with good sound and easy as travelling luggage. Check the photo to see the back of the 40 Watts Behringer speaker with Bluetooth and rechargeable batteries. They last 8 to 12 hours. Since Monday 7Jan19 I've practised my guitar hooked up to the Behringer by cable. Awesome sound from the 8 inch woofer. The tweeter is great quality too. But what is truly good is listening to hours and hours of music on my iPad and Samsung phone played via Bluetooth on the Behringer out by the pool. What a machine.Thank you MusicWorks guys. The 10% discount on the Behringer got the price down to $521 ($300 less than my guitar in 2017) and the Behringer made me an ecstatic customer.

Sally from Manukau store was awesome showed Great customer service and went over and beyond to help us Hire our daughter her clarinet she made it a easy process and an enjoyable one. She organized our pick up under short notice so our girl can have her clarinet in time for her lesson. People like Sally a rare to come by appreciate your lovely service!. Ngaa mihi Harris whaanau

Excellent customer service from the moment I walked in. Had intended to buy elsewhere but Sally and the team’s welcome drew me in and then the stock got me from there. Good brands and decent selection considering how long we’ve waited for new stock, but best of all I found the guitars in-store were well setup and maintained. Walked away with a great Ibanez that played ‘out of the box’ with great action and intonation. Thanks for your help guys, thoroughly enjoying the guitar!

Reliable fast service by Eddie. I have purchased 2 instruments from Music works Manukau. The latest a horn. They only had 1 left in the country which was in Wellington. Was not a problem. Ordered and was in the next day. Thanks Guys.

Shout out to the saleswoman Sandy or Sally! Helped me greatly with getting a crash and a stand. But, I came in the next day for drum mics. Store manager I believe said there’s “no stock” anywhere, yet I’ve ordered one online and is currently on the way. He “typed” my number down without actually moving his fingers and said he’ll give me a call when the system shows stock - would’ve given a 5 star but his service put it down to 3.
