Overall pretty stink experience, we were turned away even though we made a reservation a week in advance! We tried again the following night, to be greeted by foul front of house staff whispering to others how we had returned, your staff are not friendly, they didnt even greet us, your food is sparing for the price. Train your staff to be in hospitality! Smiles and hellos go along way in business!

I wasn’t impressed at all. I had prawn 14$, chicken 13$, fish 15$ tacos. And a virgin margarita 12$ which was very nice.The tacos were small portions for the price shd have been more like 8$ at max. Plus we’re very bland and dry.There are better Mexican places.

Shocking, for a quiet Wednesday night you’d think they’d have plenty of time to create great food and give quality service. We stood and waited to be seated for that long we decided to ask if we could find a seat and was given a bad attitude, the attitudes when being served felt very unwelcoming. All the young staff were standing around talking and even sitting all outside vaping ect. One young girl was working hard on her own. Our mains came out first and were soggy and cold, then the entries came out later and were also cold, the chips were wrong and when asked for the right ones I was given a disgusting attitude with no apology when the right one was slapped on my table. As customers who have always had a great experience this completely ruined it for us. Really disappointed and I suggest getting a new team because that’s really what’s letting your business down as we know how good it use to be. If an adult was present we would’ve mentioned something however the staff were clearly not mature enough to take a complaint.

Food was fine the young waitress we had was a little disinterested and didn’t provide info on wines available just pointed at the house wine. Food was good however and overall ok.

We really enjoyed our dinner here last night - food was delicious and staff were very friendly. There was a great atmosphere in there which you don't really get with most places. Was great to see enthusiastic staff that we're passionate about delivering a great service to their customers. The dinning style of this restaurant is to order dishes to share, so we got the fried chicken to share (which was really good and not drenched in oil) the raw fish (snapper was really fresh) and a taco to try (tasty but could have had more sauce for my liking, but that's just me) and also got the chips and guacamole (all the guac needed imo was some lime juice) then for desert we got the baked custard. Omg it was amazing! Would highly recommend going here. Best Mexican Ive had in Napier.

Absolutely wonderful service. Had a very lovely woman looking after our table. She was very pleasant and approachable really made it a great place to dine. Fast service even on a very busy night. Tasty food. Will be returning in future
