This independent bookshop is a hidden gem, the layout of the store is great, the expansive stock of games, books, cards, stationery and more will please you. The staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful, if you can’t find what your looking for then they will get it or advise where you can try and get it. They are always ready to have a chat and a laugh and they really know what customer service is all about. So if you’re looking for a book for yourself or a gift for someone else then this the place and while your at it grab yourself a Lotto ticket, you might come up with a winner, because this shop is certainly a winner for me.

Thank you so much to the staff at Athena Books - we ordered a wedding present to be posted to our friends and they provided such great customer service. They wrapped the present beautifully and wrote a note card to go with it. It was so easy to organise from Australia because their communication was so good. Highly recommend shopping here and it’s great to support a small family business!

Charming book store. Such an improvement with new ownership (used to be a Paper Plus). Excellent friendly customer service. Great range of books and other bookshop goodies. My favourite thing is that they have a cabinet with single pokemon cards for sale! Very cool. One of the last gems that South City has to offer. Highly recommend checking them out.

The most amazing service! I left it until the last minute to sort a book my son needed, but ordered it online anyway hoping it might only arrive a few days late. Great book shop that has a broad selection, including some titles you won’t see in the major sellers. Staff are helpful and will go out of their way to source books on request.
