Very poor customer service, 2 staff in the shop and no other customers and neither asked if there was anything they could help me with. So went down the road to the competition and got great service

I'm not from the Invercargill area but caught myself in a bind right on closing time and dashed to the store.I was looking for socks and had some excellent customer service from a young woman who seemed to know her stuff! Quite a refreshing change from my local store, where the staff are kind and pleasant to deal with, but they aren't much help when it comes to advice.The Invercargill store was reasonably sized and easy to navigate. Not too many customer car parks but that's a minor issue. The store performed well in all other areas.I would most definitely return to this store in the future.

Extremely helpful staff member. Great range of styles of hiking boots, unfortunately didn't have my size but was told my local store could get them in for me.Store tidy and well laid out. A nice experience.

Some really nice stuff here. Usually a bit expensive but if you wait until they have a sale on then the prices are better. Really hard to find stuff in the store... most places if you want a jacket then you go to the jacket section and they are all there. At KMD every stand has a few jackets, a few shirts, a few fleeces so you have to walk round every stand to see if there are any you've missed, and the same model might be on three different stands - so annoying. On the website they seem to display all the ugly colors first which made me think all their stuff was ugly but if you look around the store it's actually much nicer than it looks online. Good quality stuff, friendly helpful staff. Go look round when they have a sale on and you'll be alright.
