A1 First Aid

Attended the best first aid refresher training today and wanted to applaud scary Cat our instructor. Scary in a great way - dry humour, totally direct, concise tutoring, gripping first responder stores from her 20+ year career and kept us sleepy heads on our toes the whole day long. Even smiled through the pain of a broken collar bone. Request Cat to do your work first aid training as she is fab. Just don’t come catonic or dead on your feet. Thanks Cat and A1 for a great session.

This turned out to be an excellent to learn First Aid current. Its about my 5-6th time in 15 years, and it constantly changes, but I was really impressed with the latest information, faster, easy ways to remember how to treat people with first aid, and a really positive, common sense approach to teaching it. The day was fast paced, funny, interactive, professional and I will defiantly remain a client as I have to have a current first aid as a Massage Therapist.

I attended a 1 day course run by Trevor (?) Sampson with A1 First Aid earlier this week.I was impressed. The material was very clearly presented, well structured, and with with excellent documentation to back up what was being taught. On top of this the instructor had an excellent manner; humorous, and engaging. This is the first 1-day course I've been on where I didn't start falling asleep as the day wore on. Highly reccomended. Not very expensive either.

I’ve done a LOT of first aid courses over the past 12 years, working in fitness and education, usually with the “other” provider that rhymes with Paint Don. I did my first course with A1 yesterday and it was by far the best of the lot.. the only time I’ve done a full day course and not been bored or felt like I was hearing the same thing on repeat.Kat in particular was an incredible instructor!Everyone in the room had a great day, it was enjoyable yet informative at the same time. We had laughs and despite it being a long day, we all left with big smiles.I’ll be recommending A1 to everyone who needs to update their first aid from now!

I've done a First Aid course, three times now with A1. I've found that the staff seam to have good quick methods to make the concepts understandable and memorable. I would recommend this company, as they specialize in all things First Aid.*update, A1 First sells first aid kits online BUT they also offer a service to top up expired first aid kits! In my line of work as a health professional (Massage Therapist and Acupuncturist) it makes it so easy to ensure everything is with a current expiration date, and meets registration requirements!My partners a truck driver and he failed a health n safety first aid kit check as a quite a few missing, and expired items in it (as increases to improve health and saftey measures tgere are new requirements from last year). We got the old kit updated for home and brought a decent kit here that's of a professional standard!!!! They added in a few things needed on the road!All this was sorted out quickly by Alison and my partners Health and Saftey was VERY impressed with the service and itemized invoice showing the new kit meeting requirements. He of course passed his resit!

I thoroughly enjoyed the first aid course. Kat was amazing and I learnt a lot also had many laughs during the day. Was fantastic. Big Kudos to Kat please. Just completed 1 1/2 day advanced first aid course. Sometimes I find these things a bit boring but was pleasantly surprised with interesting, knowledgeable instructors. Experience showed in their teaching skills. Would recommend this provider wholeheartedly.

Did a basic first aid training course today with Kat and can highly recommend it for everyone. Information was presented in an interesting, relevant and informative way. Had others on the course doing a refresher and they all said it was the best course they have attended so far.Updated all my first aid kits as well at reasonable cost.
