Cheap Taxis Auckland

Auckland Airport to CBD. Sign next to taxis says Flat Fee $62. On arrival, the “meter” (the driver’s mobile phone) said $106. When queried, the driver said that was only for online bookings. Imagine my surprise when I find there is no way to book online. Drivers number CSLOTEY91

I would NOT recommend this company. I jumped in one of their taxis at Auckland international airport and once home made payment only to be told the driver was not registered and therefore could not provide a receipt. Extremely over priced ($90 when it normally costs me between $60-70).

I have used these guys every time we have been in Auckland, and they are always the cheapest option. I’ve had great drivers every time, no hassles at all.Our last trip we were delayed, but there was a text from the driver saying he was waiting for us even 20mins later than booked. What a relief!Our driver from the CBD-Airport was great, Brett 17.Definitely recommend.

Got a taxi with a man called Aditya, he drove me to my destination and since the gate was locked he not only got me to pay straight away to avoid more of a charge, he lent me his phone to call them, and when I found the place had closed down and someone else would come take me to another hostel, he insisted on me waiting in his car until they did to make sure everything would be ok! As a young solo female traveler this was so reassuring and thoughtful especially since I was already stressed about the situation!Honestly the best service and he gave me tips about where to get a local sim! 1000/10 would use this service again in a heart beat!

After a tough day it was a delight to have Cheap Taxis give a quote on line, turned up on time and the service delivered with efficiency, warmth and competency and met their quote. I would definitely use this service again.

SCAM. Don’t use them. Overcharged big time from airport to city. Charged over a $100 for a $65 ride in the night with no traffic. Unsuspecting foreign traveler. Use Uber.

Would give -0 if possible. Worst company, booked a taxii whilst extremely unwell to go to hospital. Eventually called them to ask if thed be here soon & got told there were none coming because there were none in town! Why in gods name did they not call me to tell me? I ended up passing out in a fast food restaurant from standing to long waitng & my blood pressure crashing. My friend ordered an uber as I was about to call an ambo by that stage and they showed up asap. Skip these idiots and go with uber

so apparently the sign at the airport isn't the price at all to go to the city and I had to pay the price on the meter.. ..I also tried to phone to book a taxi and didn't get an answer

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND A RIP OFF - THEY OVERCHARED ME, REFUSED A REFUND, AND FARES ARE HIGHER THAN UBER. I naively booked a pickup from the airport to Hillcrest on the North Shore. While my ride did show up, they came with a car too small (even though in my booking I said the number of bags we had) so we had to put bags on our lap. Then at drop off the driver charged me $100, he said it was normally $120 and he was giving me a discount. I told him that was wrong and that was not the right fee but he refused to charge me correctly. Well I confirmed the price with the supposed company and he did overcharge me, but when I asked for a refund I was refused and told that I never took a trip with them or had a booking. And the only way I could get a hold of them was through their chat, as they don't have a working phone number. So not only was I ripped off and then brushed off by the company, I now after having done research realize their prices are way higher than Uber and other companies. The supposed charge to my house should have been $89 (not $100) but that is still way higher than Uber who quote the same distance at $70. So I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECCOMMEND, STAY AWAY. Go to Uber or one of the other services like Cheap Cabs, who provide a quote directly on their website.

Was overcharged from a small distance to a nearby hotel - Extremely overpriced ($30 when it should’ve been really $10), here visiting Auckland and this was one of the baddest experiences I’ve had, would not recommend!
