Having just resently attended an unveiling at Karetu Marae. I can honestly say the hospitality of this community is awesume. Everyone is accommodating, friendly and has gallons of local knowledge. If you get a chance to attend any event at Karetu Marae, I would highly recommend it. They also know how to put on a wonderful spread.
