Mike’s tour was great. Easy to get around Wellington and great insights into the 4 breweries we went to. Connection to the teams and staff is obvious from the enthusiasm on both sides too. A really nice part was the engagement with charities, from the breweries and from the tour too. Got to try 16 different beers with 4 at each spot giving a great range and experience without being overwhelming! Would completely recommend this tour to anyone whether you’re a session novice or a craft connoisseur!

Would highly recommend Mike and the team at Craft Beer Tours. We had a group of 35+ enjoy a fab Xmas party at brew town where all was organized for us and we could just enjoy the day. Thanks and we will be back.

We had such a fantastic day with Mike! The tour was the perfect balance between learning about the breweries, behind the scenes access, tasting beers and fun. Mike was so accomodating and such a great host it really made our day! The breweries we went to were fabulous and we just had the best day! Would definitely recommend and do again!

We had such a great time on our Crafternoon Delight tour. Our guide, Jack, was an absolute delight. Mike, the operator of Craft Beer Tours, responded to my questions about booking very quickly - even opened up the exact date and time that worked for my group. I would highly recommend Craft Beer tours NZ to anyone looking to experience the craft beer scene in Wellington, NZ.

I'm not a beer drinker (more of a champagne girl), but I totally enjoyed this tour. Mike was a gracious and very knowledgeable host and I learnt heaps about beer types from the brewers who were passionate about their craft and generous with their tasting. I can thoroughly recommend this as a lovely way to spend an afternoon in Wellington.

Loved this tour. We were worried it might be a bit awkward trailing around bars with strangers, but Mike created a really friendly and inviting atmosphere. He was full of useful information, advice and entertaining anecdotes and commentary. The breweries were good choices - the beers varied and delicious, and the hospitality excellent.

Did a tour with Mike last week. He took us around some of Wellingtons best craft beer breweries/brew pubs.He definitely knows his stuff and is passionate about the industry. Also he’s an awesome guy too!Great tour, highly recommend everyone do one of his tours. We all had a blast.

What an amazing day we had. Mike was a very passionate, informative host. The craft beer tour was a surprise for my husband who normally finds a pub in Welly while the girls in his life shop. So was such an amazing experience for us all to try something different in the city. As it was a shared tour we made some new friends from the UK. What a brilliant afternoon tasting some delicious craft beers from Fortune Favours, Whistling Sisters and Fork and Brewer and chatting with new friends. Highly recommend.Leanne Corbett

Highly recommend Craft Beer Tours NZ! Mike is amazing, so friendly and knowledgeable about the craft beer industry. Axes & Ales tour is great value for money and a really unique way to see Wellington. You should definitely book a tour, you won’t regret it!!!
