Had a really bad reaction to a mosquito bite on my lip and chin. I looked ridiculous. The lady there was so lovely and helpful and also didn’t make me feel weird at all being a foreigner (as experienced elsewhere before). She recommended some antihistamine tablets and some good insect repellent. She made me feel like she was actually concerned and interested in my well-being. Best pharmacy experience in my life!

My partner bought cough syrup for me from this pharmacy last week. After taking it for several days, I found it’s expired for 5 months. When I returned the expired syrup to the pharmacy, the staff clearly knew it was expired and told me that’s why there’s a discount on it. I said my partner was not explained when he bought it otherwise he would not buy it. Then the pharmacy staff said it’s still safe to use the medication for 6 months after the expiry date. I was so surprised with her attitude and I’ve never heard that the medication can be sold to customer after the expiry date.I checked online and the health navigator NZ website says ‘You should not take medicines after their expiry date’.I finally had the syrup exchanged but the whole experience was so gross!!! I will never go back to this pharmacy again!!!!
