Steve and Pauline are amazing hosts. The accomodation was superb, we enjoyed experiencing staying in the ehaus and the peaceful surroundings. We will definitely stay again next time when doing walks in the area.

The moment we arrived Steve came out to welcome us ... which was lovely !From the beautifully appointed , comfortable , quiet accommodation with everything we needed.... to the great convivial evening spent enjoying our meal and wine ..prepared superbly by our hosts ...... Just perfect !Unfortunately we were short on time and didn't get the chance to experience cycling the area ( and the spa! ) as much as we would have liked but we so enjoyed the delicious home-baked bread ( David said the best he's ever tasted) homemade muesli and preserves for breakfast before we left.Thank you Steve & Pauline ..we will be back soon! We had a lovely stay at Kahuimanu, a great place to recover from a couple of days cycling. Steve and Pauline were great hosts. The setting was gorgeous, the accommodation lovely, and sitting in the spa a great way to end the day. Thanks, we'd love to come back and spend a bit more time.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Kahuimanu BnB. This place is a gem and we're very glad to have found it! Steve and Pauline are very hospitable and friendly, the outlook to the Kaimai ranges is lovely, and the apartment is beautifully appointed. We really enjoyed our breakfasts including the delicious home made bread, and the spa was a welcome treat after a day's walking. Steve and Pauline couldn't have been more helpful, and it was interesting to learn about the eHaus and their aspirations to attract more native birds to the garden. We loved our stay and hope to come again. Highly recommended!

Absolutely incredible accommodation - beautiful location, sensational property, fantastic hosts. Steve and Pauline have poured their soul into their Eco property and it shows. Steve kindly fixed a flat tyre we had and even gave us some grapefruit upon checking out. We enjoyed a comfortable bed, a well appointed and beautifully designed apartment, a delicious dinner cooked by our hosts, and a gorgeous hot spa. If you have the chance to book here, do it!

Had a lovely night here after climbing the mountain. Beautiful, clean and warm accommodation with equally warm and accommodating hosts and a great view while relaxing in the spa. I highly suggest adding on dinner and cooked breakfast to your stay if available - you will not go hungry! Thanks again Steve and Pauline.

What a great spot to stay. Steve and Pauline were very welcoming. Happily showed us around the amazing property they've built and grown.Their home was warm, quiet and comfortable. The spa was a welcome addition after our day of hiking.Breakfast was lovely and my food requirements were catered for so thoughtfully. If your after a firm bed then the king/ two singles is for you. If your after something a bit more forgiving mattress wise then the queen is your best bet.The shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch too. We'd love to come back

We had an excellent weekend thanks to Steve and Pauline's wonderful hospitality at Kahuimanu. The guest wing of the house is spacious, comfortable and very well appointed, which comes as no surprise if you take your meals (again, top marks for the catering, especially considering some challenging dietary requirements we have) in the main part of the house and see the thoughtful design and decor there. The house sits in fantastic surroundings which should only improve as the native planting mature, but hopefully the view of the mountain will be preserved. We went to climb the mountain and the hot tub was most welcome at the end of a long day. We'll definitely be going back to tackle more of the area's outdoor activities from a comfortable base.
