First time customer.Clean shop. Friendly server. Gurnard was lovely. Crisp batter. Could have been drained a bit more. Nice chips. Pause fritter was gluggy and thick. Good selection of drinks ( even fav creaming soda). Will def return. Nice to find a good fish and chips shop close.

BEST FISH BURGER IN AUCKLAND. Two layers of fresh, crispy, flavoursome fish in a light bun, balanced with finely shredded slaw and tomato, bound together masterfully by a thick, creamy, tangy tartare sauce. Bravo!

Was a great shop, not sure why but the quality has taken a steep dive.. like the oil isn't being changed or something? I'm really not sure. Just chips are not crisp or nice anymore, fish is average and the deep fried foods come out dark brown..Sad cause this used to be the best in the neighborhood. C'mon guys, bring it back!

Wow! Today I ordered 6 mussels, a scoop of chips and a caramel thick shake. I was so impressed with the quality of their food. I got a good portion of well seasoned chips and the mussels were so fresh they still tasted of the sea. They were big & creamy with a light batter. Perfection! The thick shake was one of the best in town!

Highly recommend the fish and chips. Muscles are yummy as well. Parking is great. Dairy next door which is good. Takeaways pretty good. Efficient service.
