We were starving to get some food on good friday after arriving in Auckland. We were a bit reluctant in trying out this place due to the mediocre rating.However, we found the food was super delicious (Samosas were very tasty!) and the service was great with friendly staff.Staff was happy to point out vegan options to us which we really enjoyed.Food tasted fresh and yummy. Can only recommend!!

If there was a 10 to give, it would be a 10! Amazing service being greeted at the door by a wonderful, courteous man who seated us. Our equally wonderful lady server was prompt and professional. Our meal was the best Indian food we’ve had! The chicken korma and butter chicken were spectacular. There is a lovely ambience in the restaurant and additional seating area outside if you so choose. Be sure to stop by this wonderful location!

Went there. Service was not good. Vegetable makhani smells odd. Tandoori roti was not good. Had to wait for food for long time. Girl who served the food she was rude. 10 out of 1.

Food wasn't great I've had better butter chicken rice was soggy wasn't worth the $26 charge garlic naan bread was bland as wasn't worth the $9 charge. However the mango lassi and dessert were really nice. Service and atmosphere were great.

I got the butter chicken and garlic naan. The butter chicken tasted bland and unusual not like any I have had before, the naan bread was also very bland. Both were small items considering what I paid. Personally wouldn't recommend them if you want a good butter chicken

Service is great, and the ambience is culturally stunning, but food quality is not, for the price you pay. Menu needs to show what it actually looks like especially for takeaway. The Sheesh Kebabs were tiny for $16. Looked like one thin kebab cut into small even pieces, and came with no sauce (as advertised). Butter chicken and Naan seems a lil too pricey respectively, compared to other places in the local area. Butter chicken sauce was too sweet imo, and chicken pieces were dry. For $40+ I was left disappointed and unsatisfied. As much as I love supporting local businesses, I really can't with this one. I feel bad for name dropping but if youre looking for fresh butter chicken and naan try 'Indian Delicacies' on Uber Eats down the road. Its worth every dollar, a tad cheaper and tastes so good. Maybe this place has other dishes more popular with diners than what I ordered so will dine in and give it a chance. For now, a 2 star rating for service and interior.

The food is pretty good here, slim pickings in the area. A little pricey however they have a monopoly. Good and friendly service! Didn’t have to wait too long for our meals but we enjoyed it. I recommend if you are staying at the Naumi hotel as it is a walkable distance

Went here after work, staff was friendly and nice. Good atmosphere. But Was told that one curry is usually one serve I was shocked as it was $26. Ended up buying another one . Chicken tika was good, but paneer curry was not nice, bland didn’t taste like paneer: Asked for cheese and garlic naan it seemed more as a cheese and garlic roti. Very thin and crispy and not tasty at all or cheesy. Rice was very less it was like 4 - 5 spoons in a dish. Personally think it’s overpriced and not much quantity. The coke we ordered was flat and had no fizz.
