Dr Sharma and Anne were both amazing to me. Dr Sharma is thorough, knowledgeable, empathetic and funny. They were both proactive in my care, all options thoroughly explained. The practice is well organised, future appointments and tests are seamlessly arranged and my appointments all ran on time.

Dr Anil Sharma is the kindest and most understanding specialist I have ever been in the care of. Anil is one in a million and I recommend him to anyone in need of an excellent gynecologist and surgeon. He literally saved my life. Everything was handled with the utmost respect and gentleness in what was, for myself, my husband and kids, a pretty scary diagnosis. But Anil explained everything fully, and was reassuring and an anchor during turmoil. I feel like a gained a friend in the process and felt very emotional at my last visit knowing I may not see him again (which is a good thing if I don't need to). I never felt rushed at any of my appointments. He took the time to see how I was doing and what was going on in my life. In short, he cared.Anne is an integral part of his team and steady, friendly and efficient. She ensures that everyone feels welcomed into his rooms and sorts out everything required for hospital admissions and follow up appointments. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr Anil Sharma and the lovely Anne for anyone in need of their expertise, empathy and great bedside manner!

I could not recommend high enough.I had previously been referred to a different surgeon but it didn’t feel right and I was concerned when they had told me I could only have the surgery by being opened up so I decided to search for another specialist for a second opinion- as soon as I met Dr Anil and Anne I knew I was in the very best hands ! I found my saviours! I had a hysterectomy via keyhole surgery and the surgery and recovery couldn’t have gone better ! Within 6 weeks of meeting Dr Anil, I had been completely cured from the pain from my Adenomyosis, that I put up with most of my entire adult life.Dr Anil Sharma’s bedside manner and aftercare was also incredible and I felt so well looked after. I recovered very quickly and all I have is a couple of tiny dots on my stomach. The nurses and hospital were also amazing !Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU !!! Your advice, kindness, experience and respect made all the difference to this mum of 4. You turned my surgery into a 2 night holiday. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr Sharma is professional and very knowledgeable, he laid out all my options and answered any questions I have. He has a very caring and calming nature about him. Since having surgery under Dr Sharma I feel 100 times better than I have in years.Ann was super helpful and answered any of my questions I had pre and post surgery. The best gynaecologist practice in Auckland! If you're looking for somewhere that you'll feel heard and cared for, this is the place! I was with a different Auckland gynaecologist previously. Every time I visited the other gynae, I felt like my appointment was rushed and like I was just another number, to add to that, instead of giving me options and explaining why, I was just given pamphlets to go home and read - and that just didn't feel right, bearing in mind, these kind of appointments are expensive. I didn't feel cared for and so looked for another gynaecologist and I am so glad I did! The first time and every time Ive seen Dr Sharma, I feel truly cared for. Dr Sharma is welcoming and funny and he really has his patients best interest at heart. Anne (the practice manager) I thought was quite direct when I first spoke with her but she is actually really awesome, she is to the point, as well as funny and she's a sweet heart, though I'm not sure if she'd like to be described as a sweet heart maybe caring is a word she'd prefer lol but Anne really is awesome. Both Dr Sharma and Anne are good people. This really is the best gynaecologist practice in Auckland and I'd 150% recommend you choose this practice if you're looking, I can not recommend them highly enough and I wish them every success.

Dr. Sharma is very professional and knowledgeable, everyone knows that but his calming nature and how he listens attentively put you on ease even at the very 1st consultation. He gives a good amount of time for the consultation and never seems to be rushing. The practice manager Anne is also very helpful and pleasure to deal with. I really wish I have found this place earlier.

Dr Anil Sharma is professional and kind and was a very good listener who made me feel really heard when asking about menopause medications. I liked that he made enquiries and followed up with me and my GP. He also completed a procedure on my first visit saving a much more expensive operation under a general anaesthetic. Highly recommended!Anne was also professional and helpful and the whole visit was remarkably stress free.

Just wonderful. Anil takes the time to go through all the treatment options, also explains the results of any tests in detail. Both Anne and Anil are approachable, professional, and have empathy.
