Don't follow the GPS! It totally takes you to the wrong corner(bottom of road). Correct spot is at the top where there is a parking lot and bathrooms leave your car and make use of facilities. It also seems monitored under camera and has a Mt bike park too.The start of the walk is just a short walk down from there.Be sure to being your head torch! Totally forgot mine in the far and is awkward to climb down into caves when ya also holding ya phone for flashlight. Also say if wanna be real adventurous, then put on a wetsuit for the 1st(&last) cave.Shoes is a no brainer although you could risk it by using good sandals.

It's also nice track with a lot of interesting looking rocks. There are 3 holes there, not too hard to get down, not easy to go further. But do read the sign in the beginning to avoid any hazard.

Caves are easily accessible but did not venture in due to water, pleasant loop walk linking the caves together.

Definitely a cool spot. You gotta have some caving experience, go with someone or as a group, and be prepared to wade through waist deep water in some areas. Flashlights, torches, and headlamps are essential. Some eels swim about. Once you get to the middle cave, TURN OFF the lights to see heaps of glow worms on the walls and ceiling. Don't lose your way tho!

Amazing caves to explore! Didn't bring right gears to enter the caves but the walks was amazing. Took about 1.2 hours to loop around all different caves and back to the car park.

Spectacular place to visit when traveling up north. There is a new carpark here which was a much needed addition. It can be a bit tricky to find the entrance. From the carpark you have to turn right and walk a bit uphill, then on the left you will see a small sign indicating Abbey Caves.Check out my photos it shows everything in more detail, the walk to the caves is roughly 30mins one way.Bring a torch if you plan to go into the cave however this would mainly be suited to experienced cave explores.

Caves are cave like. Depending on experience you may not go down - or could venture all the way in. Walk around was very nice

Amazing place 3 caves to explore all are partly filled with water. If you want to explore them properly come when there is good weather (no chance of rain and flooding) to get in to them you will climb down a few boulders and then wade about exploring. The floor is slippery and you might end up in the water so best have a waterproof torch!
