Travelled from Auckland for a visit over the long weekend and wasn't disappointed! Amazing service, amazing food & extremely well priced for the quality of food, presentation, warmth and atmosphere.Can't wait to make the trip again soon!

Lovely waitresses, all very kind, happy and chatty. Really nice flow to the place. The atmosphere was nice and chill. Loved the decor. Great selection of tap beers etc. The food was just to die for. Every mouthful was enjoyable from all the dishes we had.Can't rave about this place more!!!Very well priced for what you get.

I was heading up north from Auckland and had heard about the Local Talent Tav, went in for lunch and was so happy I did. The space feels warm and inviting! I had the halloumi burger and it was the best thing ever. I still think about it. Service was lovely, so smiley and friendly. Food comes out fast and fresh! Will definitely be going back, wish I lived there to make it my Local.

Great tasting food worthy of a detour when heading up north. A well deserved 5/5.Loved the brisket burger and souvlaki. Probably the top burger I've had in recent memory.Nice fit out, and the ACME cutlery is a nice touch.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance.As for the food, I must say that each dish was a culinary masterpiece. From the perfectly (I believe) handmade buns to the mouth-watering platters and salads, every bite was a delight to the senses. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was impeccable.Will definitely be back thank you so much for bring a fresh twist to Whangarei.

We just visited the new Local Talent Taverna and it certainly deserves five stars! We got the burger and the chicken souvlaki both were a 10/10. Place looks great they had great music and good vibes. First time eating here as they are not long open. Feel the food prices are a bit steep for what you get, I ordered the burger/fries $26, slightly disappointed on the presentation but it was tasty. Friend got the chicken skewer, $32 - only 1 skewer, alot of salad leaves and handful of fries. Not much in way of options on menu either.Staff are super friendly and premises are clean. Wish them all the best for their future.
