Dont recommend that you apply for a job there unless u have a thick skin. Lovely and thoughtful caretakers though and 1 couple on Board who are awesome.

Great place to stay. Many sleeping options available. Self contained Units for families. And bunkrooms for schools or groups. Great commercial kitchen and large hall.

Eltham Presbyterian Camp
We stayed there for 1 night. It's good place to stay if you try to visit Mount taranaki. It can be first stop before going to New Plymouth. The management staff is very nice. We stayed in a self contained unit which is recommended. It has kitchen/toilet/shower/heater and enough beds. Just bring your own quilt.It also has small playground, and there is small area for exploration near the unit.
