i got a jacket pocket stitched was amazed at the quality of the ladies work, very happy customer and at a great price too.

Breathed new life into Jackets, cycling tops and backpacks on several occasions. Cannot fault her work. Saved me having to throw the items out. Replaced their zips.

I've had a very mixed experience at Needle Work - had a couple pairs of jeans hemmed nicely, but then had a pair of jeans altered at the waistband and made far too small (unable to wear). Also, the sewing on these was in all honesty was messy/crooked. I then had a pair of jeans turned into shorts which turned out fine, but the pair of shorts I was asked to leave as a reference/measurement guide were also hemmed shorter for some reason (also crooked in places). Last, I had a brand new pair of trousers hemmed shorter and these were done so messy that the stitching had completely missed the hem in places. I felt unable to reconcile any of this as I knew the seamstress was going overseas for 3 months the day after I picked my items up. I feel my items were rushed and not done with care. I'm so sorry to leave a negative review, but I won't be returning.

As a manager of a retail clothing store, I have been taking items to Thom for some years now. She has done a perfect job on all the items I have given her. From simple hem adjustments to replacing zips and fiddly trouser clasps she has always completed the task quickly, professionally and affordably. I would highly recommend her and have always found her to be friendly and professional.

I have had several dress alteration done by Thom over the last several months. She is always honest and clear about what she can and can't alter, and what she thinks would look best. And the outcome is always top notch. She works with me to get it just right and the price is reasonable.

Highly recommend Needle Work. Thom has altered the size on a pair of trousers, as well as taking up several pairs of trousers and tailoring a blazer. All work has been done to a great standard, and she is professional to deal with.

Thom is wonderful. So careful and talented. High praise for her professional workmanship. She always gets the job done and if it can't be fixed (and this is a very rare thing) she will tell you - no messing around. So lucky to have her services available.

First time going to Needle Work, great service and they did a great job. Prices are far more reasonable than the city seamstresses. I will definitely be going back.
