Wide Bench Old Stove Hotpot
Many times been in, beef and lamb always are fresh but pig intestine was sliced frozen and quite stinky, not very fresh. About $80 - $100per head, unfortunately I guess for same value can have better food.

BEST 红糖糍粑 in AKL! We order 2 plates each time (we come here w 3-4 people)Place is a bit pricey but it is worth it. Must get the 油碟 to dip ur food into before eating. The beef tongue is also insanely delicious and presented beautifully. However do not order the pork intestines as it is not good at all.Edit: Came here recently after a few months and the fried rice cake tasted different and not as good. Mentioned it to the owner as I was curious if the chef changed. The owner gave me a refund even tho I refused and told me he will check it with the staff as they are handmade! Rare to see owners like this these days. Will most definitely keep supporting themEdit:

Very accomodating restaurant, just have to book in advance to dine during lunch hours. Everything on the menu is available now. Flavourful spicy hotpot, no extra dipping sauce required~ Beef meatball was my favorite, so tender~ The only downside for me was that the portion size are a lot smaller that some other hotpot restaurants. 3 of us spend $208 with no drink. There was a table across the room still left uncleaned, which looks like it was left from the night before... LOL...

Although the menu is fully in Chinese, the staff were nice and patient while explaining literally every item. We booked via phone number and we’re seated straight away although the restaurant was full.We chose two types of broth, mushroom and spicy - we went for mild and was still too spicy for us so make sure you can handle the jandle. Everything was fresh and we tried some ‘unique to us’ dishes like beef throat. There’s no chicken. Make sure to get some greens and extra noodles.Tsing Tao beer is a perfect accompaniment to the hot pot. They also make a delicious home made plum ‘juice’.Highly recommend this place, great value, cozy and delicious.

The waitress was rude, was throwing the dishes on our table. The quantity of the food was small, the flavour was really average. It's over priced for what they offer. My husband and I felt very disappointed, won't visit again.

The restaurant is so cold. Long waiting time after ordering our food. Have to remind them about what we ordered. Foods are small amount with high prices. Feels like they are just making money by buying supermarket food and heat up. Won’t go back or recommend.

Wide Bench Old Stove Hotpot
Came here with my Chinese friends. Apparently this place does Sichuan style hotpot. Food was great, and spicy! There are some interesting options like beef tripes and fried tofu skin. Though to be honest I would have no idea how to order them as the menu seems to have no English on it.
