Little Paradise Lodge & Wild Dream Garden
My sister and I stopped at this art garden and so glad we did! Amazing garden sculptures all made by the owner, ponds with salmon, peacocks roaming, serene walkways through the gardens. And then we were offered a house tour and wow it’s amazing! Scenes of prehistoric NZ on one wall, amazing carved furniture, the most unique bathroom, again all done by the owner from local materials. The tasteful rooms are set up as a B&B with stunning views over their gardens and Lake Wakatipu. If you are looking for something different, I’d definitely recommend you visit this place. This was a highlight of our trip!

Little Paradise Lodge & Wild Dream Garden
Definitely definitely stop by if you’re driving past and even if you’re not driving past, definitely make a stop here, it’s so worth it and you won’t find anything else like it! Walking through the house and gardens feels like a stepping into a fantasy realm that’s a combination of Pan’s Labyrinth, Spirited Away and Beatrix Potter. The owners are so friendly and happy to answer all your questions too!

Little Paradise Lodge & Wild Dream Garden
We came across Little Paradise accidentally and did not want to leave. The owner was very kind to show us the interiors which are all made by her partner! We bought the tickets to walk through the garden and did not regret a single cent - the garden is stunning and expansive with great attention to details, lots of beautiful art objects. Very recommended to visit and in fact would be great to stay in Little Paradise for a couple of nights next time.

Amazing place, highly highly recommend visiting! Thomas is an extremely genuine person who has dedicated 40 years into building and tending to this property himself. The house and garden is extremely well kept and gorgeous! Mind blowing talent and eye for detail. The walk is very easy and lots to see. The tree house view is especially beautiful. I will be recommending this place to my friends and family for sure.

This place is impressive and definitely a 10/10 does not disappoint and definitely worth a visit if nearby. Totally worth the price to do a tour around the garden, the whole garden is so unique and definitely one of the best I’ve ever seen. Would highly recommend

Little Paradise Lodge & Wild Dream Garden
Me and my partner did the $15 garden walk, and it was honestly the highlight of our queenstown trip. An incredible house and garden tour, with a spiral staircase up a tree (for the adults), massive rainbow trout in a pond and some gorgeous peacocks roaming amongst the sculptures and plants. An incredible experience, we highly recommend!!
