Such a cool wee spot to climb and have a good ol’ natter. Josh and Sinervä are very knowledgeable and welcoming. So too are the regulars at the gym. All ages and disabilities are catered for, both in skill level and facilities.

Highly recommended. Friendly customer service and professional training prior to using. Our grandkids loved it and grew in confidence during our time there even our 4 year old. Certainly something to do with the kids

Challenges from easy to difficult. Well set routes with plenty of choice. Worth stopping off, especially when the weather isn't ideal. Well priced and great fun. The staff will help you if you are new to climbing. Fun for everyone. I'm 51 and still enjoy my climbing, indoors and out. Recommended.

I managed a few walls despite being scared of heights. The owner encouraged me to the top of one of the easier really tall climbs. Was an awesome achievement. Water cooler was very nice after coming down.

Great experience for introducing my girls to rock climbing. Service was friendly and professional. Climbs suitable for novice to professionals. It was great seeing what the kids could achieve. Definitely support this locally owned business.

Can't fault it. Kids had a ball and super helpful staff to give you a lesson. Nice way to fill in time around the area.No crowds, no wait and clean facilities. $15 a kid and $20 an adult. Reasonable.Thanks for letting us climb.

Always stop here when in the area on holidays, kids love challenging themselves on the climbing walls and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Turangi Climbing Gym
A fantastic facility and we highly recommend. We have been coming here for years, but the new owners (since 2019) are particularly good. The gear is high quality and safe. The instructors are great and really generous with their time—even taking time out to coach kids and give pointers on how to improve and extend yourself. Definitely one of the best activities in the region.
