1st appointment with these guys. Thorough with my medical history. Which is quite extensive. Started working on the main issue, felt good afterwards. Alasdair was great, very upfront and direct, which was great, no beating around the bush. Made a great 1st impression. Roll on the next appointment. :-)

I’ve been seeing Ali for about 2 years now. He’s fun, relaxed and really knows how to cater to his clients by putting them at ease. Ali has a lot of knowledge and I now look forward to each session…..especially when I crack like a glow stick!

Totally recommend Haerenga Hauora for all aspects of wellbeing! My child has worked with Counsellor Rach who is just amazing at listening to whanau and tamariki, engaging and working alongside the client to achieve wellbeing goals. She is fun and down to earth, though with good boundaries that ensure progress to wellbeing. Very skilled at working with busy young kids who need to move and has a range of different techniques and sensory items to support regulation. Balances well confidentiality of the child while keeping whanau involved in the process. I am also a clinician and can not recommend Rach highly enough!I've also worked with Osteo Ali for a while now. I have a complex condition that requires long term treatments. I have seen various other disciplines for treatment before, but have never had success as I have with Ali. He takes time to listen, assess and works to provide effective relief including in clinic as well as strategies to implement at home. Expert knowledge and skills on a wide range of health issues including complex physical, medical and mental health and wellbeing. Ali keeps up to date with his own professional development regarding patient needs to ensure he is working in accordance with best practice. Anything he doesn't know, he will research and he shares this in a way that ensures the patient can understand without all of the jargon. He is very respectful in his practice and communicates effectively with your wider health care team where required - and these are always very well regarded and provide greater insight for the specialists. Ali cares about your holistic wellbeing and takes time to get to know you and asks how your family are doing too. He's fun for kids, has a great sense of humour, is down to earth as well as being very professional.The entire team are welcoming and professional. A great service with great philosophies that leave you mana enhanced and supported on your journey to wellbeing and recovery!

Alisdair and every other team member who I've encountered and / or had appointments with have all been amazing. I've had chronic back pain for years, one appointment with Ali and I walked out feeling the best I have in a long time.
