Vivo Hair Salon Te Atatu

Really, really terrible service. Just say NO to VivoVery Disappointing experience.My sister visited the Te atatu Nth Salon a few days ago hoping to get her curly hair blow-dried curly for some family portrait photos which were subsequently cancelled due to the complete mess that was made of her hair. All that we wanted was a wash and blow dry curls, easy or so we thought.The senior stylist left my sister with who we think was an apprentice that did not know how to blow dry curls or use rollers, which she tried to do both of. The apprentice was very rough, ripping at the hair and scalp due to using an incorrect brush and not knowing how to use velcro rollers, creating very fuzzy hair.. The senior stylist kept coming over to rush the apprentice as she was too slow but offering NO HELP at all when she was clearly lacking the knowledge and starting to stress out.My sister left the salon after paying $81.00 for a frizzy, messy, kinda curly, kinda straight birdnest (i have seen her hair look better the morning after clubbing) that we were unable to fix before the photos. She was extremely upset, crying with a sore scalp from all the tearing at her hair and now letting the family down. When i asked why she didn't say something at the time, she said when felt sorry for the young apprentice as she was just thrown in to fend for herself.BIG WASTE OF $$Writing on behalf of my sister

Wendy was amazing! Gave me a total different colour and fixed some uneven hair I had been worried about due to a health condition, completely put me at ease

The best cut and colour I've ever had! Krista-lee did a beautiful job coloring (balayage) my natural redish hair. I am delighted by the results which exceeded my expectations. Advice about caring for my curly hair was also helpful.

Hated the haircut i had. I asked for something and got the opposite, the hairdresser did what she knew, not what asked for. Now i have to wait all over again to get it right. Not to say how expensive it was $85 for a short hair.

Krista-lee was able to fix my haircut after it was ruined at a different salon. She walked me through the process, made me feel very comfortable and did an amazing job.

It is my first experience with Vivo..And i would recommend it to anyone who is looking for 100% satisfactory results..! Javi is a lovely lady. She did my long hair so well. She is very patient and customer driven. She did her best to give me a stunning look.Thanks Javi ❤️

Extremely unhappy with my hair cut and colour by Shannon. I asked for a cut that was shaping slightly longer towards the front of my hair and slightly shorter at the back and it turned out to be a hack job and the worst hair cut I have ever had. I was not shown the back with a mirror and now I know why.Asked for highlights towards the front of my hair but after looking at it properly when I got home it is really patchy and looks like I have re growth already even though I got it done yesterday.I went back the same day to get my awful hair fixed and did not receive any apology or acknowledgment that it was bad. Still not happy with my hair she just ended up thinning it out too much which I hate now. I literally can cut it better myself.Worst hair cut ever and I spent over $170. Crazy

I've been coming to vivo Te Atatu for about a year and a bit now and have always been very impressed with my hair and just the whole vibe of the salon. I've had my hair done by Monique, Anna, Wendy and Shannon and every time they've nailed it. I wouldn't go anywhere else! The experience is always a treat and you can tell they put 110% effort into looking after their clients. You really do get what you pay for!

I highly recommend this salon! Booked with Wendy and she took great care of my thick Island hair. Thank you for the fantastic experience. Will definitely return.
