Lovely spot for a quiet swim after work, I has a small carpark which made parking easy. At the time we went over Christmas it was closed for swimming but on other times it's good seclued spot for a dip

Superb quiet and peaceful cove that is easily missed on the way into Governors Bay, highly recommended

Our favourite little beach /bay close to /in Christchurch! But you need to check tides before going there, at high tide the water covers the whole beach. There is a boat ramp so it's great for any boat /kayak activities (even at high tide of course). I think sometimes swimming isn't allowed/recommended, but check the sign there.

Peaceful wee beach... Parking is limited. Be prepared for a muddy bottom under foot
