The experience, the taste, the service. This little Indian restaurant needs to be put on the map for all those visiting or passing through Mouteka. There was a man with beyond exceptional service who made and delivered our food. Simply to die for. Can not recommend more.

Amazing service and food, I am never disappointed when I'm looking for a tasty fresh meal from Simply Indian. Easily my favourite Indian in the Tasman area. I went and got the lunch special. Thank you !!!!!

Even if you don't have a booking, you'll be accommodated immediately with a smile, which is a testament to their exceptional service.The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the hot lamb saagwala. This dish was an absolute standout, with a generous portion size and an abundance of flavors that surprised and delighted our senses. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the lamb was cooked to perfection, making every bite a treat for the taste buds.Overall, Simply Indian is a must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional Indian dining experience. From the atmosphere to the service and the food, every aspect of our visit was exceptional. The chef truly deserves compliments for the outstanding food, and we can't wait to return to this gem of a restaurant on our next visit to Motueka.

Absolutely incredible feed! I wish I could’ve taken a picture before we devoured our meals but the presentation was spectacular. You’ll feel so welcome here and well taken care of. Huge portion sizes so it’s a great full meal before or after a hike. Plenty of options, gluten free and vegan included on the menu.

From the outside it looks like just another small Indian restaurant but this is the place that gets everything just right- a good selection of dishes to choose from, fresh flavors, not too sweet, not too greasy, good amount of spice. So far I've only gotten takeaway here but the seating area looks comfortable and clean too. The main guy at the counter is always super friendly and I never have to wait long. Being the only indian place in town, you might think they'd be tempted to compromise on quality but I've been there several times now and the quality is always consistent. My go-to takeaway spot every time I'm in town!

Love this place, have been going here since I was taken as a little kid. Always exceptional service from Sabin and the team, awesome food and just overall a lovely experience everytime I dine here!
