We just had our wedding at tawharanui lodge. It was absolutely beautiful. Jo made everything so stress free. It’s great they offer an all in one package it saves so much stress on the day. The food was incredible from Karl. I could not recommend enough tawharanui lodge

I phoned as a courtesy to talk to the owners about a bill received in error,I was abused by the Karen on the end of the phone ,as apparently it was a scam , instead of listening she got stuck into me , as if I was the scammer. Karen's are like that all mouth . I would never deal with a company who are so rude. One star is too high.

We had our wedding at Tawharanui Lodge and we had the absolute best day. Jo and Karl were so incredibly accommodating, the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. All of our guests commented on how amazing the venue and food were. Thank you Jo and Karl!!

We had our wedding at the Lodge in January 2022. We couldn't fault it. Jo & Karl were extremely accommodating, the food was outstanding and our guests had an amazing time.We will cherish our wedding memories for years to come.

My husband and I got married at Tawharanui Lodge on the 29th April 2023. We looked into a couple of venues in the area, but were completely won over by Tawharanui. The venue itself is beautiful, the location is close to the beach, and the packages they offer are comprehensive and amazing value for money. We loved that venue, food, drinks accommodation and decorations were all taken care of, it took so much stress out of the planning! And Jo and Karl absolutely went above and beyond. We genuinely felt that they were invested in making our day so special, and they lived up to our every expectation. Jo's communication and dedication to our wedding was faultess from the get-go. No ask was too big, no detail too small. And Karl was so kind and helpful the day before and of, he really put us at ease. Our day was so perfect, thanks to the teamwork of Jo, Karl and their staff who sorted everything behind the scenes.Our guests all commented on what a lovely venue it was, and how phenomenal the food was (we had an incredible buffet selection of beef, chicken, ham and seafood, delicious salads, breads and potatoes - we truly ate like royalty!) Catering to our vegan guests was no trouble, and they raved about their meals, too. The wait staff were diligent and friendly. And having the rooms and chalets on site was wonderful - it allowed for easy setup the night before, a lovely space to get ready, and an easy 30 second walk at the end of the night to our accommodation!I would unreservedly recommend Tawharanui Lodge as a wedding venue. Jo and Karl brought the perfect mix of professionalism and genuine care. They listened to what we wanted and delivered a day that was more special than we'd even imagined! Jo and Karl, we are so grateful!

We recently had our wedding at Tawharanui Lodge. We couldn't be happier with how the day went. The venue is absolutely stunning and the grounds are the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding. Right from the first day we contacted Jo and Karl to breakfast the day after went so smoothly and perfect.We opted for the platinum package. The canapés were so delicious and plentiful. The buffet was outstanding. Everything was so delicious and cooked to perfection. Everyone raved about it. The desserts were equally delicious.We highly recommend Tawharanui Lodge to anyone considering a wedding or even just a weekend away. Jo and Karl, thank you for helping make our day one to remember.

We recently had our wedding at Tawharanui Lodge and it couldn't have been a more perfect day. We chose the lodge because it was such a beautiful location and venue, and everything was done for us to just add our own personal touches. It was also incredibly good value with accommodation on site for the bridal party included and still cheaper than many options we had looked at. Jo and Karl were so incredibly helpful and accommodating and no question or request felt like too much (even when I asked the same question over and over). Jo ran the day smoothly so we didn't have to worry about a thing. We had so many compliments on the venue and on the food, a number of ppl said it was the best food they've had a wedding, and the best beef they've had ever! Thank you Jo and Karl for hosting such a perfect day.

We held our wedding at Tawharanui Lodge in February 2021 and cannot recommend it highly enough as a venue.The service was impeccable both in the preparations and on the day itself. The co-owner, Jo, was instrumental in having all the details in hand throughout, despite last-minute changes. The food was excellent and plentiful. We received so many positive comments from our guests on the food and the venue in general. It was, from our perspective, a very happy and low-stress day, made possible through the hard work of the owners and staff.The accommodation rooms were clean and well-maintained. The setting is very pleasant and close by the lovely beaches of Tawharanui peninsula.

We got married at Tawharanui Lodge in May, 2021 and it was absolutely perfect.Jo and Karl were fantastic in making things easy and run smoothly, and went above and beyond. The weather looked like it might have to be indoors, which could have been stressful but Jo was relaxed and kept watch on the rain radar and it all turned out in the end. We did have a beautiful outdoor ceremony and the weather behaved. It is a fantastic venue for photos and so easy with onsite accomodation.Jo is the ultimate professional and her advice and experience were invaluable. Thank you for all your patience and help in making the wedding the amazing and pleasurable event it was.Everything felt relaxed and our guests (and us) had a great time with lovely food and drink.We couldn't have asked for a better experience and completely enjoyed .
