I recently had the pleasure of using Propspeed's Clear Coat product, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Had propspeed applied to my boat March 2022 and by September my diver said it was gone. He had been using his hand to brush off barnacles and then switched to a brush and plastic tool through October. Diver came back April 2023 and had to use a metal scraper. Had the boat pulled out of the water May 3rd and indeed the propspeed was completely gone. The marina that applied the propspeed Severn Yachting Center blamed the diver because the saw scrapes on the surface of the IPS drives so they would not cover the loss of the propspeed. I guess you could say I just got the runaround between prop speed, the Marina and the diver. In any case I will not be using prop speed again and I warn all others that if something goes wrong you have wasted your money because I have no way to prove if the product is faulty, or the application process was not done properly, or the diver used the wrong tools. Propspeed rep Darren called me and although my marina did nothing for me Darren said he would give me product to try the application again and he would come and supervise to make sure it went on properly. I take the boat out April 2024 and I'm going to try again with Darren's expertise. I'm glad someone stands behind their work/product.
