We acquired a a big piece of cube roll (frozen), as a gift. I called up Mad Butcher Napier, asking if they could assist cutting the frozen cube roll up for us so we can freeze pieces and not have to defrost it all at once. They refused to help me because the meat was not purchased by them, even though I was prepared to pay. We always purchased our meat from Mad Butcher but this petty policy will cause me to have to go elsewhere. Quite disappointing that they refused to help at all.

I would rather eat cheap precooked supermarket sausages than the overly salty 'SWIMMING IN FAT' sausages from here. Their premium mince is not bad - but the sausages !!!!! make sure you have a full roll of handy towels!

Check the due date on your meat. Twice now i have been there and brought a meat pack and not realising the best by date was the day was the day after. now i have wasted money on meat I can't eat and have gotten sick from accidently eating it without realising the due by date ( meat was consumed the day after purchasing)

I Regret Not doing this letter Ages ago, but I just have to do it NOW, because when I was Falsely accused of stealing in MADBUTCHER, Carlyle st, NAPIER shop, right from the time that Living nightmare happend to me that Terrible Horrible day, it. REALY affected me Badly! I cried alotta tears, over the humiliation and dispicable disgusting False attack on me! They NEVA said SORRY , and that hurts an disgusts me!!’! M

Well I just wanted to know why the website says mad butchers is open when it's not open even for pick up orders ??? I know covid doesn't help but yous could update your guys website for the ones that ordered meat and I few people had pick up orders today between 12 and 1 I just came back from mad butchers now I was one of them to pick up but no one was there

Worst ham ever, horrible burnt smoked taste had to throw in the bin such a shame as the customer service in the shop was great. But would give the ham a miss.
