What an excellent find! I really haven't had much exposure to Spanish cuisine (Saffron, Paella?). However, this place honestly had me spending the next morning finding out as much as possible about Catalan food. It made that much of an impression (and it was nothing like I expected).With every dish the flavours were excellent. We asked the waiter to basically feed us until we said enough, and I couldn't fault a single dish. From the Old School Croquetas (yes, wow!) to the Iberico Ham with Tomato bread, the Canalons and the Pelix (fantastic fresh Snapper in a Tomato based sauce). It was all spot on.This is more worthy of a destination drive than a Walk through Kingsland looking for Food". Given that it has only been open for a few weeks I would totally recommend telling people you discovered it first."

We had a late dinner last night at Barcelona. New tapas bar in Kingsland.Delicious tapas - Catalan style, and Fantastic Spanish Eco wine. Thank you Jordi and Christina. You made my taste buds Happy!

The only good Spanish place in Auckland. Real croquetas and good quality food. A bit overpriced, but that's what happens when you need to import expensive ingredients from the opposite side of the world

My wife and I had a wonderful night out. The food was delicious and the staff very helpful and friendly. Only problem was parking. There is parking at the back but that night was full so it was a bit of a walk from where I parked. Well worth the effort though.

Very nice food good place to relax

Had lunch at Barcelona in kingsland. Friendly feeling with nicely presented yamy dishes. Loved the Old school croquets and the Pear in red wine dessert was superb.Great place for a night out with friend or casual lunch with colleagues. Thanks Jordi and the team.
