Napier City Bike Hire & Tours

8 of us riders would definitely recommend this Company. They are so obliging an courteous , have great well maintained bikes and they’re pick ups at the end of the ride are on time and enable a much further distance ride with the return trip in they’re courteous mini bus.

We (6 women) have just spent three days on a cycling tour around the Napier area. Jan had our bikes ready to go each morning after charging the batteries overnight. He even tolerated us taking them back after hours one day after one too many gin tastings! He advised us of good coffee stops and was great value. Our e-bikes were fabulous. Thanks Jan.

Great service, well priced for families. We did the great escape trip, one electric bike pulling a carriage and 2 separate standard bikes. Staff was very kind, helpful and patient.

Brilliant a must when coming in by cruise ship ! We organised a couple of e bikes and ride to the wineries for a self guided lunch/ tourJan was a great guy adjusted our bikes and helmets and away we went around 20km to the wineries and then as promised he picked us up ready for our shuttle back to the ship - the bikes , service and the whole experience like a well oiled machine thanks - so much Jan for all your help

Great hire. Such good value. Amazing to have a pick up at the end. Helpful map and info on the bike route. We took a little person in his own seat and 4 adults on the winery ride for 16km. Great weather, great cycle paths and great wine. Loved it. Thanks so much.

Great experience and a beautiful ride down the Napier coast. You’re free to go as fast or slow as you like and stop wherever. We ended up at the Te Awanga winery for a ride lasting about 2.5 hours at an easy pace.*I would double check the route before you go, our coastal cut through road to Te Awanga was closed just outside of the winery and we had to backtrack a few kilometers to Haumoana for a detour. Apparently this is rare, but it’s a big detour.

What a great experience! We (couple) picked up a bike at 8am & did the 38k route. Loved the detailed route suggestions at the start with the personalized map based on what we wanted. The path is fantastic, with superb 360 views pretty much everywhere! We booked a wine tasting and stopped on the way. I’d highly recommend doing this over pretty much any other tour. Directions are easy, and you feel like a kid who just got their driving license, both the freedom and thrill. You can go as fast or slow, as easy or hard as you want with the e-bikes. Thanks to the entire team here, you made our 1 day stop in Napier the best it could be!

Had a great day on the bike tour. Saw the beautiful coastline and drank some delicious wine. I would recommend at least 4.5 hours to ride and then hit the coastal wineries.
