I had an urgent issue during a long journey, and Edgeware Auto saw me immediately without hesitation. Fixed it up within 10 minutes, allowing me to get back on the road. Best thing about it, they said I didn’t owe them anything and they were just happy to help. Absolute legends. Rarely do you encounter businesses who genuinely want to help out. Thanks team.

Rang up late on Thursday afternoon and they told me to drop my car off Friday morning. Less than 24 hours and they had fixed my horn. Easy to deal with and decent price.

Very pleased with how quickly they fit my hybrid in, diagnosed the problem and had it sorted. Back on the road in 2 hours. This was my first time using them. I'll be going back.

I’ve been taking our cars to Edgeware Motors for many years and over that time have had a range of mechanical work done, always to a high level. The thing that strikes me most about the Edgeware is their up-front honesty about what work needs to be done, and delivering value for money. But recently they went over and beyond and I think this shows how they value their customers. I had just bought a new (secondhand) car and completely got the baby seat stuck when the the safety belt wouldn’t retract just as I’m about to head out of town for a few days with the kids. Short of cutting the safety belt, I rang Edgeware and they asked me to pop in straight away and they would see what they could do. So in we went and minutes later they had it sorted. They had a workshop and lot full of work on the go but that they made time to rescue me so I could get going was awesome. Thanks Wayne and all the team there for the great service you provide.

Edgewater Automotive are excellent! They helped me out the same day I called. I was just passing through town when my car broke down, they took a look at my car and got all the parts to repair it very quickly. Really appreciate the efficiency and quality of work. The staff are super helpful and friendly too.

I booked a warrant of fitness with them and have informed them that I will be coming in between 2-2:15pm as I am going off work at that time and was acknoldged by sarah that it was ok and algood as I took off from work and on my way to the shop i called them and informed them about the matter, the person I talked to on the phone stated that they will no longer be able to entertain me due to the 30 mins service allowed per person, i stated that I did informed them about that on friday prior to booking and was told that it was ok and no problem as I did mention I am coming off work early to bring the car for the warrant as I work the whole day and I was dropping it off and coming back as I have to walk 10minutes to pick up my son from his day care and return for the car. It was frustrating as I was told it was ok just to be told another when I was on my way, the person I talked to did not even emphatize or symphatize with the matter and treated it like they dont care, whether you book another or cancel it which what I had to do as I do not have any options available. I was hoping for this businesses to make it clear as I understand all of us are busy and like for myself I have to take time off just to be able to do a warrant of fitness, I work the whole day and took this time off just to get it done and now have not been able to get anything done due to false confirmation given.

Great mechanics, good honest pricing and great workmanship. Team are easy to deal with and provide such a high level of service that I have not experienced elsewhere in Christchurch. Don't think about going anywhere else, just call these guys!

Car needed a wheel bearing, phone at 8am from 200km away dropped the car at 11am was fixed by 2pm. Very reasonable price. Meant I could carry on driving south the same day. Big thank you.Highly recommend

This is my second year coming here for a WOF and this place has been the best discovery! As a young woman it is nice to find a place where I feel comfortable and confident to take my car.
