Great customer experience, super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Most expensive passport photos I've taken I'm my life. Just why...?

This is THE place to go if you need any help with your camera! I inherited a camera but it was missing a few things. I went to a few other shops but they weren't much help, so I came to photo warehouse and staff gave me some great advice about SD cards, and helped me sort out lens protection, a lens cap and a bag to keep the camera safe. The staff are super passionate about cameras, took the time to explain everything to me and had great advice. I cannot recommend them enough!

If you're here for printing ID photos, just be warned it can take more than promised 60 minutes or 1 hour. I paid for my order at 1:37 pm today but when I got to the store at about 1:45 pm, the store staff didn't even know that I had paid for my order, and worse still, wasn't prepared for me to pick up the photos. Due to the extra 10 minutes waiting I asked for a discount proportionate to the time wasted but staff flatly refused as they said they weren't the bosses. One staff was visibly upset when I was persistent in my discount request to compensate for the lax service. But in the end I told them, I would let it go as they weren't the owners and to their credit, they apologised for the delay. But honestly I felt ripped off, paying $20 for a 60 minutes service but had to wait longer as a result of incompetence and clear disorganisation! Very disappointing customer service experience!

Went in yesterday to purchase the Fujifilm X-T30. Fergus was super helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to help my confirm if the camera and lenses would be a good fit for what I needed (beginner who wanted something versatile) and respected my budget. Didn’t push me into an upsell, but was able to clearly articulate the benefits of going with high quality lenses. Answered all my questions and I never felt uncomfortable or intimidated at the fact I am very native to the photography world.Amazing service and even threw in an SD card so I could make it through the rest of my visit through NZ. Really appreciate it!

Wanted a Panasonic G9 body, the website said it was in stock, so I drove the 30km to the store to pick one up, but was told they didn't actually have any in stock. After taking my address to ship one to me, he changed his mind and asked me to arrange the sale by emailing the web sales department who I had already emailed several days before and didn't reply. You want me to do the work for your sale? I can only guess the guy was new to sales, but as someone with over a decade of retail sales experience, I was perplexed. So, I went home empty handed and bought it from Rubber monkey instead. It was a little more expensive, but I'd rather pay more than support a business that operates like that. Ironically, I only went to the store because I had store credit after making a complaint about the previous bad experience I had. What is it they say? Third time lucky? Sadly, I don't think they'll be getting a third opportunity.

Three staff behind the counter stood for a while and not one of them spoke to me. I left and spent $3000 somewhere else.
