This could be the worst fish and chips we have eaten in New Zealand... Absolutely please don't do it, I actually can't even put my finger on one nice part of the meal... Undercooked batter, rubber parts in the fish burger, cheesey weezeys for $6.50 and I could count how many bits of cheese where on there! Awful just awful.

they charged my aunty the wrong price for fish and said that it was our fault.. after the server realized her mistake, she told my aunty that she would receive her money back but she was not allowed back at the store.If I could give a negative rating I would..

I moved to kati from auckland 4 years ago. We love chineese takeaways we tried mural town 3 years ago it was average and they always stuck big bits of carrots in all their dishes. About a month ago i thought ill try it again. Omg honestly i was blown away by the best egg fu Yong ive ever had in my whole life ive been back twice and will continue to the new owners are so nice. I hope they are open for pick up this sunday i want to surprize hubby for fathers day.

We were touring the North island and stopped by this place as we were driving through. It’s pretty bare bones as it is a take away place but they have a selection of fish and everyone was telling us to have fish and chips while we were in NZ.The fish came wrapped in paper. No bag, no napkins, nothing else. I asked for napkins for the 4 of us and the lady behind the counter handed me two napkins. I had to ask again for another 2 napkins. I also asked for a fork and she charged me $0.20 for the fork. The fish was okay but the serving was small and it was slightly soggy. It was another $2.50 for tartar sauce.I can’t believe how cheap and shortsighted these people are. The customer service is terrible. I don’t understand why they think it is a good idea to charge for little things and not make people happy. I strongly would not recommend.

At Mural chippie, the chips are nice, batter is good, fish is fresh, mussels are good. And not over salted! Cheap and cheerful. Don't judge a book by it cover.We've tried a few other chippies in town. This one has been the most consistent, the other have been a disappointment despite the higher star ratings.

0 stars do not recommend. When they have a lot of orders they mix the old food with half fresh food and give you things as if it's fresh from the smorgasbord. So disappointed , I've noticed you guys have cooked terribly for the past 5 years. I dunno how you guys are still open.
