Five Star Nails Takanini

My daughter and I went ther this morning for pedicures and I had my eyebrows waxed. Wow what beautiful service and the hot stone massage on our foot was an unexpected extra that we loved. This is now going to be our regular pedicure place. Excellent service friendly staff and beautiful work!

Okay, let’s start off by saying that I did get a 50% refund after I complained about my nails but I would definitely say there’s room for improvement. The lady who did my nails gave me a completely wrong shape, and every time I asked her to change it she gave me attitude. Or seemed annoyed. She also injured my fingers with the nail file, and I did bleed. The customer service was average. One star only because the manager fixed some of my nails and give me a partial refund. Won’t be going back.

Will never forget this nail experience! Staff were super nice and welcoming. Had a good laugh with the staff and the manager. Safe to say I’d recommend this store to my friends and family AND I’ll be coming back next time I decide to do my nails!

Went in for a manicure and pedicure with my daughter. Staff were so friendly, they seated us straight away. It was very clean and tidy, fantastic job on both pedicure and manicures. Will definitely be back.

Got my acrylic nails removed here & gel polish put on my natural nails. I had 6 acrylic nails left on and they picked them off with nail clippers and a nail tip, one of the she stabbed into my nail bed and even when I said ouch she just kept going. now I've got a really sore nail that no doubt will end up infected. another nail spa in pukekohe did the same thing, seems to be the new thing with cheap nail salons but its so wrong and ruins ur nails.My gel polish was not that great either, lumpy and you can see they haven't even applied the top coat properly... can see shes missed the tip of my nails with it. They just got slack when more people started coming in the door and rushed me out.Wont be going again.

I had my nails done for my birthday 4 days ago. I decided to get dipping on my natural nails. Two of them chipped the very next day. I went in to get them taken off as I wasn't happy with the rest of them anyway, they were all over my cuticles and skin and very uneven. They weren't happy I asked not to be charged for removal. Very poor job at getting them off. Minimal care, no cuticle oil or strengthing put on to help. Won't be back

Used to go to another nail salon but my first time coming here i switched straight away. Always clean and elegant looking, friendly staff. I have never come away unhappy! I have bought family and friends many times, Love this place :)

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!Should be called 0 star nails….Went to the Karaka branch. Booked for 12.30pm, waited an hour before anything started, and the nails were shocking and patchy. Got them to take it off and re-do and they still look shocking after a total of 3 hours sitting there! Worst nail place I have ever been to.

My nails were nice, I got them done for my wedding. The only thing was they didn't give me what I wanted in the pic I showed. The girl that was doing my nails had already moved on to her next client when I asked for the accent nail to be done, she said to wait until after her client. I said that was fine, I'll just pop over to the warehuse and come back. When I came back the same girl was still on her client but was almost done, so another staff member said she can do it for me. I could tell that she asked in her language if she wanted to do it and the other girl said NO with attitude and rolling her eyes.. I'm paying for the service, if you don't want to finish the job you started then why even work there zzz

The nails tech who did my nails cut me in several spots and when i pointed it out she just said “oh sorry”… i was bleeding. Another nail tech came and put some antiseptic on my fingers and told me to wear gloves if I have to cook or do the dishes - excuse me what?? Definitely won’t be going back, save your money, go elsewhere.
