Surf Fevah

Best Surf shop ever!! We decided to randomly stop into Westport and the owner of the shop totally made stoping in this town worth it! Was very helpful, told us where all the great safe surf spots were. We had an amazing day, the gear was awesome, affordable and customer service was even better! Would recommend to everyone :)

I took my first ever surf lesson with Surf Fevah in March. It was a great experience and an absolutely beautiful day. Definitely one of my best NZ memories and one of the best things I could have done shortly before the lockdown. Cargs was super helpful when I walked into his shop spontaneously and made sure we picked a day with good conditions. During the lesson he was very encouraging and made me feel really safe and confident all along. Probably one of the best places to learn surfing in NZ, I can absolutely recommend it!

The shop owner, Carg, is a legend, very nice and friendly guy.He told me where to go surfing, camping spot for the camper van and hot showers!I recommend popping in the shop and have a chat with him if you are interested in surfing the area.

I stopped there for a night and came to this shop to hire a board/wetsuit and try the local surf for a couple of hours. The shop owner was really friendly and gave me some excellent tips regarding the local surf spots. He even wrote a sketch of the spot he recommended, where the rocks were, where to paddle in and what to expect. I've had much less from surf guides!! I ended up having a fantastic session and a great memory from Westport.

Did a brilliant job sorting and sizing all the surf gear for my kids.Has the most helpful and knowledgeable staff.Definitely my new favourite surf shop.

Went in for bumper stickers and left with positive vibes and tips on the area. Thanks, wish we could have popped by on our return journey but it was early morn. Next time!

Surf Fevah is a 100% local surf shop! Super friendly owners, super helpful, enthusiastic and motivated to share local knowledge and stories. We popped in the store almost 2 years ago for the first time and asked for spots to surf and conditions and straight forward we got all the useful information we needed. We’re still very thankful for that! Since then we visited the shop regularly and the range of clothing, accessories, shoes, boards etc. is super nice and well organized! Always great to have a chat too! You‘ll get want you need and of course you will find always more ;) Cargs took us surfing as well and explained us about the spots, very patient and with a lot of love for what he is doing. With Surf Fevah you feel the love for surfing and the culture which so often is missing in surf and skate shops nowadays. Thank you Annie and Brent for sharing your passion and experience! BTW - The new shop is just awesome!!

Rented out a board when I visited Westport for a surf trip. The owner, Carg, was extremely friendly, knowledgable, and made sure our group had all the information about the local breaks and conditions that we needed to succeed. We'll be definitely be returning for all of our surfing needs the next time we're on the West Coast.
