One NZ Queenstown Airport

Staff were totally disinterested in conversing when I arrived two weeks ago at 9pm on 26/09/22. Yes, it was late in the evening, but they'd rather scroll through Google Images and chat together than talk to customers. Not the best first experience in Queenstown (not that I was too bothered because their prices are highway robbery). It's not clear why they'd stay open late if this standard of service is the norm.

Owner should tell me to restart my phone cos I use 3G speed whole day until I found out my friend can use 5G speed and I call Vodaphone and they told me to restart my phone .

Vodafone no longer has a shop inside the terminal. They sell SIM cards as you enter through the duty free section. The seller holds up a card with the prices and deals on it. If you do not buy them there you have to buy a Skinny SIM card at the Paper Plus bookstore (you can't go back to the Duty Free). I did not realize this so I avoided the seller hanging around the duty free area and had to buy the Skinny card. Ignore my rating because I am neutral about the Vodafone deals.

If you are after a Vodafone or now called one sim get it at arrival duty free. Gst exempt so cheaper than outside. Only thing is you have to buy it first through dutyfree before they will set it up for you. The boys at the counter was super helpful and set both phones up for us in 2 minutes. Recommend for service and convenience. At dutyfree if using card, charge it in nzd. Conversion is terrible.
