Montgomery Square Carpark

It's a carpark but one of the better ones for Freecamping. 24hr toilets and a shower available for $2 in the morning. Nelson seems to appreciate backpackers which is always good to see

It has lots of carports which you have to pay for There are public toilets in the middle of it and shops eg. Briscoes a Filipino Asian shop Grocery shopping and WINZ and more

It's a nice carpark with lots of free space for your cars to roam while you shop.

It was to go to the Christmas Market and I went early 7.15am, so plenty of parking was only away 35mins by the time I got back it was 1/2 full.a good place to park if you don't mind walking.

Car park is ok, only wished they cleaned it daily though, always full of rubbish

Saturday's is the time to be in this carpark, just don't think you can park the car as it is full of tents, stalls and gazebos with a huge variety of contents. Great food, fruit, wood turners, coffee stands, health products, face and skin care products etc. etc. The very best for coffee and cakes was the Dutch stall with the best coffee, apple and with cream, Oliballen, poffitijs and other yummy foods.Make a special effort to see Kemp Lenihans wood turning stall, his workmanship, quality and special woods are the best I've seen in a very long time. We bought a beautiful piece made from a Pepper tree Burr (see photo) it now has pride of place in our lounge. Holding just a few of some of my very best stones without taking away the beauty of the wood.

How do you review a parking lot? Convient location in CBD and great place for Saturday market.
