My partner went in to buy me a book as a present and politely asked for a recommendation from the owner based on my previous reads, his response was .. how should I know, Ive never met her. Being the lovely soul that he is he igorned the rude comment and politely asked another question to which he recieved another dismissive comment. Not being one to jump to any conclusions quickly I went and asked the same questions myself and recieved a completely different friendly amd helpful response. In conclusion my partner was treated with a lack of manners and respect due to the colour of his skin ... awful to see in this day and age

I've been in twice and both times when I asked a very simple question, the guys response was gruff, abrupt and not remotely interested in helping me. I'd rather pay more to shop elsewhere. Obviously not a place big on friendly customer service
