Great people, good skills and a great outcome

I was one of those customers who get a quote and then sit on it for a few years. But coming back to Pete's to get them to up-market" my maroon 90's kitchen was sure worth the wait. The service from Reece and the team behind was fantastic. The calculations and suggestions to make what I wanted fit into a restrictive space was incredible. The remodel included some new cabinets which have increased my storage areas 50%. So thanks again"

We were really disappointed in this company's lack of response to us, despite emails and my phone calls over a 2 and 1/2 months period to see if anybody was coming round to quote for our work. Despite repeated assurances that their consultant would make contact, they never did.We've given up on them - no positive feedback from us.

We did the kitchen floor tiling for Pete's Joinery & Building. Rachel was great to work with. She was very responsive and flexible with our requirement. She was very cooperative when we needed to communicate with the owners. Everything went smooth until the end of the project thanks to Pete's Joinery & Building. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

I contacted Pete's joinery to help be dismantle and ship a private sale hidden bed from the Wairarapa to Auckland. Rachel was very prompt accurate and help in making the arrangements. I wouldn't hesitate to use Pete's Joinery again.

Excellent service and advice

I enquired about a new kitchen, didnt want anything too modern, as the cottage is 1885.. oh boy, what I have now is absolutely beautiful, opted for beige coloured drawers and cupboards, with a old fashioned style sink ... BUTLER, what else to have.. did ask for a dishwasher in white... make my life easier now getting on in years.. Pete's Joinery, took over, stripped the kitchen completely, walls, ceiling, floors, only thing left standing was the range, Stanley Super Star, looked lost in the empty room.. so they did fixtures around it, made a special unit so I could slide out the coal bag when needed, yet hidden from view. Lovely benchtops...I am thrilled with the new kitchen, decided the floor had to be *planks* and the colour goes well with the beige around. Walls are now as exterior, Pearl Lustre with white paintwork.. new electric fittings.. this is my first time in NZ or since I left home in London in 1970 to have a lovely kitchen.. Recommend this firm to one and all, I took before. between and after photographs.. amazing, Years ago I had some work done with this firm, and when my friends wanted to change their kitchen about the same time as me late last year, I said please go to Pete's Joinery.. They too are more than happy with their outcome...
