Really enjoyed the Shawarma and the Turkish coffee (highlight). Can’t say the same of the chicken kabab(not to my taste, though it was cooked very well). The place is clean and spacious. The portions are very generous.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Papakura. It’s a cozy restaurant that has left the best impression on me. Great atmosphere, is chill and cool. The staff are also very friendly, and customers are their main priority. The food is absolutely amazing, everything we tasted melted in our mouths and on top of all that they make the best shisha. Highly recommended.

I don’t know why I didn’t discover this beautiful shisha bar. This is the best service in Auckland. Amazing people and nice clean shisha. Huge food choices and amazing flavours. Recommended!!n

Ishtar Restaurant and Takeaway
Dined in last night and we were seated in the covered outdoor area. I was a little concerned about being cold but the heater, the blanket, and the weatherproof blinds ensured that wasn't the case. The food was delicious, the wine was cold, the service was lovely (attentive but not overly so) and the cost was very reasonable. Happy customers.

I may have a slight Ishtar addiction! I love this place, best Mediterranean restaurant in Papakura, it’s always a delight to see the friendly staff they make you feel right at home! I’ve had almost every dish at Ishtar now but my favourite has to be all the lamb kebab dish & milkshakes/mocktails Highly recommended!

Cute restaurant, good design, good service, prices are great. We had vegetarian falafel platter and it was delicious. Backlava and tea was excellent too. Highly recommend.
