Pacific Harbour Villas

Sad to say that this is one of the tiredest places I have stayed in for years. Leaky dripping tap in kitchen, toilet cistern working continuously, 40 year old dirty stove, nowhere to hang clothes, and dirty, worn carpet. Superficially clean until you move the furniture. Needs some serious investment to justify the price - $300 for two single beds in a bedroom and a queen in the living area. Left “please make up our room” sign on the door and it was still there at 4 when we returned”. Would not recommend.

We booked a room overlooking the garden. It smelt like it was locked up for a while as it smelt damp. We asked to change rooms. The reception was happy to move us to an apartment and apologized. We were happy with that, thanks to her for that. The new room was lovely with great views.Just needed work on the dusting side of things I.e light shade was so very dusty it rained dust when I hit it with my head.Great stay and we will be back.

Really beautiful location, everything is close by. The rooms are clean and open. On top, the staff was really friendly and gave us a room spontaneously as we got stuck. We will be forever grateful! Thanks x

Such a horrible experience in my life..Not even worth 1 star for this low quality serviced motel.- Booked with Agoda app, 4 Nights for long weekend trip.- Once I checked in and get into the room, there were 3 giant mosquitos and 1 spider.- I made a booking with agoda, the room called 'Seaview King suite'.I realized they provided was totally different room. Smaller room size, No seaview, No sink for dishwash.. totally different with the photos.- Claimed to the manager next day.- Admitted they provided different room called 'Habour apartment'- NO APOLOGIES, and saying..Two seaview King suite rooms were damaged by cyclone gabrielle and all other rooms are fully booked. Asked me to stay 1 more day and will change the room.(Please learn to say sorry when you make mistake or provide misleading info. It is common sense)- Also saying.. it is long weekend and you will not find any other place to stay.(Threat...?? Haha..)- No refunded, but decided to cancel the trip and back to my home.Totally ruined my trip.Claimed to Agoda and they do nothing. They do not try to solve the issue but saying same thing..'please contact reception / pacific villa declined to refund.'

Decided to stay a night in Tairua on travels and rocked up to ask for a room. The place looked nice, however I was offered a room for $210 (one person in mid winter) and agreed. Basically I’m staying in the basement of the main house and not in a villa. It stinks of mildew. 3 single beds only. A noisy fridge and noise from the house upstairs and can hear clearly the people behind the wall in what seems to be another room. If you stay here do not accept room 27 as it’s pretty much a rumpus room from the main house.

Good accommodations in a great location , however shower pressure low and the water temperature fluctuated alot, it is a bit hard to manourvre your car inside the villa area.TV has a wide range of streaming choices

Couldn't check in early or even on time, facilities in room broken, rude and unhelpful staff who made unauthorized charges from our credit card. Ruined our few days on north island

Dirty rooms, uncomfortable beds, toilet ran all night, pots and pans disgusting and broken, The road noise and noisy guests was intolerable. Probably the worst place I have ever stayed in my life and I have travelled the world. Not sure how you can charge for such poor quality. We left a day early as dawn broke, obviously they punished us. We booked Mt Maunganui and what a relief. This place is heaven.

Nice and clean rooms. Close to everything in town. Super friendly and accommodating owners. Love the chocolates!

First time staying in this accomodation, had a wonderful experience from the get go. Clean rooms and great customer service. Everyone was kind and accomodation contained all the necessities we needed, would definitely stay here again if we’re travelling near the area
