Click and collect from outside lockers is so efficiently run and quick turn around. I was impressed with staff when I realised the substituted food would not work for my purpose. They went off and brought two selections for me to choose from. And with a lovely manner... No grumping. Good experience

I am surprised to report it's much bigger than the Countdown in my much larger town. Well stocked, tidy and laid out just like all other Countdown stores, so easy to shop here. A really well designed carpark has a pedestrian refuge up the center, so it's safer than most supermarket carparks. Countdown could use Dargaville's Countdown as an example to it's other stores.

So many items i went to get were currently out of stock". I can't work out why they have advertised specials but don't carry extra stock for that particular item. And of the items that were in stock they've had a huge jump in price. Store was dirty staff were inattentive

Everything looked fresh and was in the usual place. A nice store. No bag packer on checkout. which was a bit stressful as there was a queue behind me.

They have a wonderful selection of meats, mostly grass fed. The fruits left a little to be desired as a lot of shelf space was empty and looking sparse. The cashiers were friendly and the checkout process was good. It is a massive footprint for such a small town but I guess locals from pretty far away come to this location. Photos as of feb 2020.

Awful experience! Express was slowest cue! 3 people ahead of me, 12 items or less.... half of tbem didnt know what 12 or less ment. I asked the lady ahead of me if I could possibly go before her with my 4 items, compared to her 19..... but she looked at me and said, No I've been waiting for ages." Fair call

They’re all pretty nice locals doing a good job. Always helpful and friendly.Obviously prices could be better but what do you do.
