Fantastic meals!! Sooooo yummy!!! Kids options!!! Friendly staff!!! Lovely atmosphere!!! The tap water could do with a filter tho.We have now been several times and have loved every dish served!

Mind blowing food and presentations. Best Indian food ever. Lovely service at the same time. Paneer tikka wasn’t in there menu. but they made it for us and didn’t regret it at all . chicken choosa was so tender and full of flavour perfect combination of spices.Keep up the great work guys. Highly recommended.

Dined here 29th December. 3 adults . We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals . Excellent food and service. I have no hesitation in recommending Master of India . I have been a number of times, keep going back, which speaks for itself.

I ordered quiet a few options.Starters came cold. Chicken was a little hot outside but was too cold inside, it was soggy and too much colour. I would have made a formal complaint to the council to inspect their food but letting ot go this time.

Nice! The vindaloo was a tad salty but excellent dining experience overall. Absolutely planning to return someday. The tapestry is lovely, and makes it one of the restaurants with the finest interiors I have seen in New Zealand.

Good food but they prioritize sit ins, not take aways. When I was there the place was pretty empty, ordered my take away and told 10 to 15 mins. All good. After 40 mins went up and questioned what was taking so long. My order was sitting there, who knows how long. It was cold. Lesson learned.... don't do takeaways at master of Inda napier.

Wonderful place to dine in. A 5/5 stars for hospitality and customer service. Hygenic atmosphere with quality food with etnic Indian cusine and options. Located pretty much in the heart of the city so easy to access although, parking vehicles could be challenging during peak hours. But overall, one of the best Indian reataurants I've been to in New Zealand.P.S. Restaurant.: You may want to reconsider using food color in fried items as formulating just the batter and spices right will add to the authenticity. Also, though the tea was just perfect, please sort out a better carry away cup as its not quite leak proof.Thank you for your service! And all the very best!

This nice restaurant is set up with traditional Indian decor. The meal portion sizes and prices were fair. However, the korma curry that we ordered was quite sweet which I felt was not very authentic at all to the flavours of many Indian curries (especially as I have travelled to India). In saying this the staff showed great customer service when I asked about the sweetness. So, if you are like me and are after a more traditional Indian curry and like a bit more heat and spice in your food let the waiter know. I look forward to coming back and trying more of the food that was on the menu.

Unfortunately the entree was served cold/warn and could not eat as it was chicken dish.I asked for a recommendation of goat curry and served a dish that was not goat as asked, very disappointing
